~Selene's POV~ She sends the text on the morning of the third day, a single address and a single time, nothing more, because she has decided that anything more would turn a simple decision into something requiring explanation she does not owe. She does not write come if you want to or I've been thinking about this or any of the dozen softer phrasings that occur to her and that she discards almost as soon as they arrive. She writes the address of the south house, the time she wants him there, and sends it before she can talk herself into editing it further. Then she sets the phone down on the kitchen counter and goes to feed the twins, refusing to watch the screen for a reply that she already knows, from everything she has learned about him over the past months, will not require any furth
