Chapter 48
After making some last minutes modifications to their plan it was unanimously agreed that Penny would go to challenge the beast. It made more sense considering she was the only one nearly as strong as it. And for the rest of them, it was their duty to try and stop Stephan and The Resistance. There were some objections to this plan of course (Candace, who feared for her child) but in the end, they agreed to go through with it. For Penny, finding the beast was the least of her worries. Matter-of-fact it was the easiest. Canaan had told her where to find it (at the center of the chaos outside) and she could sense its presence too.
