WHY SHE IS BEHAVING LIKE THIS

1241 Words
Nicholas’s P.O.V.   Andrea was behaving very weirdly when she woke up after 6 months coma state. Doctors checked upon her and told me that everything is alright. As her throat was not healed properly, we have to wait for some days to check whether she lost a part or the complete memory or not. I was really hoping that her memory would be intact.   6 months before, we both were coming back from a meeting with an investor when that accident happened. I am CEO of  Anderson & Anderson and she was my PA. She is working with me for last 2 years. She was not like other Pas I had in before her. She was head strong, held her dignity firmly and never tried to throw her on me. She was very much professional with me and I like our relation this way but still, sometimes it hurts that she was not affected by my charm.   We were on our way to office. There was no rush of traffic. It was not like I was driving fast but suddenly, I heavy loader came from opposite side suddenly in front of us and I lost the balance on the wheel. My car took a 360 turns due to sudden impact of brakes and then rolled down on the road 2-3 times. Andrea was sitting on the passenger seat and she got severely injured. I somehow sustained less injury than her.   Some passersby immediately came for our help and someone brought me out from the driver’s seat and I looked for her. Some of them also took out from the passenger seat but she was unconscious. I immediately rushed towards her but felt that she was not breathing.   I panicked and started shaking her badly. A few persons tried to stop me but I didn’t stop. I held her in my embrace. I thought that she died but then I felt her groaning in my embrace. Soon, the police and the ambulance reached to the spot and took both of us to the hospital.   She went through so many surgeries to remove the blood clots from her brain and to fix the fracture in her skull. She has only her mother as her family. I took the responsibility and shifted her in the VIP ward of the hospital so that she could get the best treatment.   Her mother thanked me a lot of time. She resigned from her job as I insisted her so that she can take care of her. She was me officially and it was my duty to take care of her until she recovered fully.   I found strange how she behaved when she woke up today. She was continuously staring me like I have grown two heads. She panicked when she saw the doctor. Andrea that I know is never afraid of anyone. Even she has a good interaction with doctors.  Then what happened now. Might be that accident had affected a part of brain related to her behavior.   I was waiting outside as the nurse was giving her bath on the bed. Her mother had gone to her house to bring some clothes for her. She was not in the hospital when Andrea woke up.   “Hey Son”, I heard her mother’s voice and looked back. I had already informed her that Andrea has gained conscious. She was looking so nervous and exciting. There were tears in her eyes and she was fighting hard to keep them at bay.   “Hey Mrs. Hudson”, I greeted her with a smile. She came near to me.   “How is she?” she asked me nervously and I put my hand on her hands that were clapped together in front of her stomach.   “She is alright now. Doctor said that there is no sign of concussion but we can’t say if she has lost any part of her memory or not”, I told her everything then what happened when she woke up. A tear flew down from her eyes and I embraced her.   “Mrs. Hudson…. I told you she is a strong girl. Look, she has made out”, she gripped on my shirt a little and nodded her head. She was sniffing and I knew that she is happy right now.   She listened to me silently and was surprised to hear my doubt. I didn’t tell her that her daughter was drooling over me that was so unlike of her. I only told her how she reacted after seeing the doctor.   “She was never afraid of hospital or doctors. I don’t know why she reacted like this”, she said to me surprisingly and I nodded.   “When will we go inside?” she asked me and I told her that the nurse was giving her bath. We both waited out for about 5 minutes more when she heard her screaming again.   We both immediately ran towards the door. Inside we saw the nurse trying to keep her on the bed. She was screaming and her body was shaking badly.   “Andrea”, her mother called her while going towards her with teary eyes.   I went towards the nurse and held Andrea from her shoulder. She was shaking furiously.   “Call the doctor now”, I asked the nurse and she immediately left the room. Mrs. Hudson held her from her feet.   “Please calm down, Andrea”,  I tried to console her but she was in a stance. Her eyes were widened and pupils are dilated. She was having fit. Her breathing was not normal. Sometimes, she took very deep breaths and for some seconds, she stopped breathing.   Mrs. Hudson had firmly held her from her feet but tears were continuously flowing down her eyes. I could understand her pain. Andrea was her only family. She had none other than her. She was afraid of losing her and she was not able to see her in that much of pain.   Soon the doctor arrived and instantly ordered the nurse to give her something stat. I was really worried. As per her latest reports, she was fine and there was no complexion. Then what did happened that led her condition deteriorate to this level?   The nurse immediately prepared the injection and doctor inserted into her veins. After a few seconds, she started calming down and then she drowned in the deep slumber. Mrs. Hudson was crying bitterly now.   “What happened?” the doctor asked the nurse and she answered him immediately, “I don’t know doctor. She was alright and was very cooperative during her bath. After giving her bath and combing her hair, I showed her the mirror. She was smiling at first but then her expressions changed as she looked at her face. She started panicked but was not able to say anything. I immediately removed the mirror and tried to calm her down but she started screaming”.   We all were confused now. I looked at the doctor and he had the same expressions like rest of us.  “I don’t know Mr. Anderson why reacted like this. We have to wait till she heal properly”, he sighed and I looked at Andrea. She was sleeping peacefully now.
