Asher’s POV
We finally left the hotel a couple of days ago. We are almost to the lycan kings pack with only about an hour to go on our journey. Dagger is restless in my mind. His pacing is about to drive me insane. Every time I ask the beast what is wrong he just says the same thing over and over again. There is something coming, but he is not sure if it is friend or foe or both. His antsy behavior is not giving me the warm and fuzzies. I have been keeping an eye out for anything strange, but I haven’t seen anything yet.
“Stop the car Asher!” Claire shouted at me.
I slammed the breaks not knowing what it is that my mate saw to make her want me to stop the car. “What’s going on Claire? What did you see?” I asked, checking our surroundings.
