“Could that mean that I was the result of the one-night stand?” Nora thought, and she studied Layla’s face as she spoke. It was the face of a woman filled with regret, but what she was regretting, Nora hadn’t figured out, she needed to hear the whole story to know why she was feeling regret.
Nora didn't mind the time she had spent, even when the night had become oppressive and threatening, a sneaky wind blew up, and thunderclouds darkened the horizon as a flash of rain plopped heavily on the roofing sheets, all she wanted was to get to the end of Layla’s story.
“It seems the moon goddess wants you to spend the night with me,” Layla winked.
“I can't spend the night here, it would be too dangerous. I don't mind going back in the rain, but you have to complete your story,” Nora trumpeted.
