The palace was thrown into a state of commotion. Everybody had basically stormed out of their rooms. Marock and Mira were at the scene too, casting curious glances. Nora, who had planned to rest for a while before going to her office to continue her work for the day, stormed out of her room as well, her expression palpable. Everybody was looking at each other, confused.
The crowd was filled with whispers as they all exchanged curious glances.
"What happened?" "What happened?"
And then the news was announced, sending waves of shock through everyone.
"She is dead… Lady Alegra is dead."
"What?" The palace seemed to echo with the question, as if everyone had spoken in unison. "Lady Alegra died?" The question was repeated, with varying degrees of shock and amusement.
