Another visit to Wolfsburg Pack by Nora proved futile. After she went to Layla's house and didn't find her there, she went through the neighbors and asked, "Please, how long has this woman been away?" she asked one of the neighbors who was passing by.
"I don't know," the neighbor shrugged. "Is she in trouble? Did she cause any trouble?"
"Since I got here, she has always been alone," the neighbor continued. "You barely even know if she's around. She's always in her house. Is she not there?"
The neighbor tried to help Nora look for the woman, so they both went back to her door again, knocking repeatedly. "What had happened to her? Could she have died?" Nora's mind was racing with questions. The king had refused to tell her if he was telling the truth about her release or not.
