Gianna There was a huge difference between waking up with terrible hangovers and waking up with amazing satisfaction. That was how i always wanted to start a day. I lay on the bed smiling at the ceiling without reason. I was about to arrange the activities of the day in my head when a knock came at my door. "What?" I glared towards the door, and Alessia came in all dolled up as usual, but the frown on her face just told me that whatever she was about to say would be good news to me. "Something got delivered to you from the palace." She replied, looking anywhere but me. "What the f**k? I just woke up happy, and you just had to spoil my mood?" I sat up and eyed her. "My mood also got ruined when it got here with your name bodly written on it." She fired back. I gasped because hell... i loved it when she flared up. "Is that my fault?" "Of course it is. You ruined my chance with the prince the moment you got to meet him, and now i can't get married to the man i love because of your evil, disgusting act." She yelled as tears began falling from her eyes. I stared at her with wide eyes and burst out laughing. I got out of bed making my night gown fall to my mid-thigh. "Listen, Alessia. I have better things to do than seduce the prince. And he hates me, okay? It's just a matter of time before he convinces his mama that i am the wrong choice, and then both of you would stay happily married." Her eyes brightened. She's f*****g pathetic. "You think so?" "I know so." I rolled my eyes, walking past her. "Let's check out my gift, though." I smiled. "I think they delivered a dinner gown. Maybe you would be going on dates with the prince. What if i dress like you and go instead? Maybe the prince might like me and choose me instead." Alessia jabbed on as we went down the stairs. "You can never pass as me, Alessia. I'm never desperate." I scoffed. "I think you would act the same way if i stole something from you too." She snapped, and i stopped, turning to her. "The Queen stole from you. Why don't you stop whining like a starved dog and just confront the f*****g prince to like you back." I sighed trying to calm myself and just got more angered when she began shedding tears. "I can’t stand you." I muttered, rushing down the rest of the stairs. "You stink, Gianna." Mum said immediately i approached her. Rolling my eyes, i began looking around at the boxes arranged like some kind of bride price. "Is this some kind of bribe?" I gasped. "We got orders from the palace." Dad began as he stood near mum. "All public events involving the crown prince now include you too." "What does that even mean?" I groaned, walking to sit on the white comfy chair that always soothed my nerves. "You’ve been announced the soon to be wife of the Prince, so you will be seen with him at all public events. Need more explanation?" Mum said, daring me with her eyes. "Okay, let me get this straight. Any event that is similar to that f****d up memorial we went yesterday won't smell my presence." I muttered resting comfortably. "I'm sure i would have changed the mind of the Queen before any public event anyway." "You mean before tomorrow?" Dad asked, folding his eyes. I sat up, glaring at him. "You guys are really selling me off to that idiotic prince?" "Watch your mouth, Gianna." Mum scolded, making me sigh. "I need a drink." "You are staying away from alcohol and those guys yoi call friends from now on. You stay home at all times." Mum said, making me jump up abruptly. "No f*****g way." I chuckled. "Any more disrespect towards the royal family would get you killed, Gianna." She said, almost yelling. "Why do you care?" I scoffed. "Because we would probably get hanged too because we couldn't keep you jnder control." She added, and i shook my head, feeling stupid. "For a second there, i thought you were worried about me." I muttered, looking away. "I can't get over how stupid i am." "Gianna..." Dad started. "You can admit it too, dad. You also think I'm that stuck up b***h who wants everything her sister has. But guess what? I really do. So how about i just get married to him." "Stop playing the guilty game, Gianna." Mum rolled her eyes, and i felt an insane urge to strangle her till she choked to death. But i couldn’t. I prefered going to jail for something far better than that. I smiled at her, moving closer. "Let's see how long you think that way." I muttered before walking away. "I told you to stop treating her that way for Godsake." I heard dad say, but i was in no mood to feel relieved about that. He's just like them. Getting at the top of the stairs, Alessia stood there with a small innocent smile. "Stop forcing mum to love you. It comes naturally." I scoffed. "Let's see how you breath when i f**k Axel Bernadotte." I said entering my room. I banged the door so loudly and screamed fisting my hair. ♧♧♧ The thrill of climbing down a really high window was amazing, especially when you wear high bootheels that make you feel sexy. "If you fall, I'll leave you here, sweetheart." Danny yelled from below. Sometimes, i wonder how foolish he can be. I am trying to climb out of a window at midnight in secret, and he's yelling so the whole estate could hear. "I'll kill this fucker." I muttered using the iron pole by the edge of the wall to slide my way down. I landed safely and sighed, adjusting my black leather skirt, which sat just below my fleshy butt. "You look..." Danny started and whistled like he didn’t know the word to use for me. "Keep your f*****g voice down idiot." I glared and he just chuckled. "Let's get out of here." He smiled, pulling me along. We got into his red porshe that i loved, and he drove off immediately. "What about Trevor?" I asked after getting comfortable in the leather seat. "He said he had important business. His dad, i think." "He always has important business." I muttered with a scoff. He always had lame excuses to ditch us, and when confronted, it was always an apology. "I guess it's really important business today. He seemed agitated." "Yeah, right." I nodded. "How was the party yesterday?" He asked, making me groan. "Can we not talk about that? I hate remembering traumas." I mumbled. Danny chuckled. "Okay then." I opened my eyes only when the car came to a stop. "We're here." Danny grinned, getting out immediately. I followed. It was an underground, illegal racing spot. Danny and I started coming here ever since we discovered it, and Trevor only tagged along whenever we forced him. I loved the danger and excitement that came from the racing, and i thought Danny did, too. "I think Bratva would win tonight's race, though. You seen him practising?" Danny grinned as we walked through the heavy crowd trying to find a spot. "Whoever wins doesn’t matter, Danny. The race does. Two amateurs racing would be boring. I love me a challenging race." I smirked. "You can't even drive a car perfectly. " Danny scoffed, and i hit his arm, making him hiss. My eyes narrowed at him. "Don’t say that to me." He raised his hands in defeat. I took out my phone, taking a selfie of my outfit. "Let's see what the prince has to say about my outfit." I mused. I began searching for his account, but nothing came up. What was i expecting from that annoying prick? I smiled when i found Blair’s page. She seemed to have loved me a lot after i convinced her to take the alcohol even after she complained about the prince being against it. I smiled at the memory. I sent her a friend request, and she was quick to accept. Perfect. : Send me your brother's number. Her reply came immediately again. :He would get mad. I sighed, typing a reply. : i won't rat you out. :Promise? She reminded me of little Alessia. :Whatever. Just send the damn number. I smirked when she sent it and finally uploaded my pictures on his dm. I couldn’t even imagine his face when he looked at them. But i knew it would be either disgust or anger. Either way, he would find more reasons to want to end this joke of a marriage. I was a contrast to any form of royalty, and that wasn’t about to change.
