UNDER THE CRESCENT MOON

CHAPTER 7: THE DEMON WEREBEAST

Thier was no Moon in the sky as night came, Boobie is still confused on the whole alpha thing. The black and brown wolves were the only known werewolf specie that existed,there was no record of the white werewolves occurance in the whole werewolf history.

"There is only one alpha,fool",he said rudely.

"wow!,I can't belief that there are others like us"she said with much amazement, ignoring Boobie's rude words. Afterwards,she became sad."and I removed his fangs,I killed my own brother".

"you did what?", Bobbie shouted.

Removing a werewolf's fang is a terrible punishment to them, that's why Douglar killed himself,he couldn't bear the shame.

"He's a werewolf, they're others like us",the whole pack murmured.

"Kid,am so sorry for killing your alpha,he bumped on me and I taught he was a threat. Karina exhaled.

" He's not the alpha". Boobie said."I have to go look for the alpha",he turned back to continue his search.

"Don't worry boy, I'll help you, seems like your trailing ability is still weak,I can perceive a blood scent from here" Karina said as she went ahead of Boobie, sniffing and trailing the alpha.

Christian couldn't move,his hand had fully grown but the venom was all over him.

"Ahhhhh.....",he screamed as the black large veins grew with an incredible painful sensation, he continued to crawl with his belly until he stopped, noticing that someone had arrived,not just anybody but a werewolves different scents, which means that it wasn't black or brown werewolves, it was something new.

"is he your alpha", Karina said pointing at Christian.

"Yess!"shouted Boobie who rushed with intense joy.

Karina continued to stare at the be beast,it had long white hair and black on the tips.

"what is he?"she taught,stepping backwards.

"Sh*t!,his scent is complicated, he's not even a werewolf",her whole pack could see that he was afraid,they too, couldn't define the beast in sight.

Hugging Christian,Boobie said,"thanks, you really helped out".

The long silver hair couldn't even reveal the the alpha's face,so out of curiosity, Karina wanted to behold him,she came close to the grunting alpha and held his hand.

"It's like steel, it's so strong,it can't be...",she taught."it's okay, breath"she said as she swept the hair covering his face,their eyes then met.

Afterwards;she started shivering heavily and uncontrollably,her lips started shaking since she could not remove her eyes from Christian's.

"what's happening?"Boobie taught. He dragged Karina away from Christian.

"What did you see, alpha",a man asked as the others were eager to hear her experience.

"I saw.....DEATH" she stammered with thick sweat flowing down her face.

"What do you mean?,how does death look like?,does it look humanoid",Rajirr asked with curious stare.

"What did I say wrong?!", Rajirr asked because he noticed that everyone was staring at him with much disgust.

"I just can't explain,I just felt extreme fear and misery"she continued, ignoring stupid Rajirr's question.

"Boo.....Boo.....Boobie",an extremely weak weak voice said_Christian.

"Father!",he replied with shaky voice as tears fell down his eyes.

"I've failed you", Christian said as he coughed out blood.

"Nooo!!!,no!,no!,you haven't failed anyone",he said as he raised his head, leaning it on his laps. he was now shedding tears.

"I promised your father that I'll keep you safe",he struggled to speak as his eye lids were really getting heavy.

"Don't talk anymore, please breathe", Boobie said as his face became shiny cause tears had welled up in his eyes.

Seeing this, Karina and her pack felt so emotional that some who couldn't control their emotions were moved to tears.

The alphas voice became so faint that Boobie brought his ear closer in other to hear from his father.

After, Christian chanted some magical languages and his tattoos started glowing slight blue,the crescent dagger appeared in his hand,he gave it to Boobie and then died.

"No! No!! Nooooo!!!" he screamed and wailed as he leaned his head on the dead alphas chest.

After Karina had consoled him, she was getting ready to move.

"Hey! he said I should give you this"Boobie said wiping his tears and stretching out his hand towards Karina.

"He said that?"she asked with much amazement.

"yeah! he said you should keep it safe and protect it with all you got" Boobie replied, Karina was like "why me? I'm not taking that". But the dagger was so enticing,it was something every one wanted to own so she couldn't resist.

"Then, I'll have to thank him",she said and collected the dagger,she kissed him in the forehead,"travel well, dear friend".

Though Boobie couldn't tell why Christian entrusted the weapon to a total stranger but it was his death wish so it must be honored.

Holding the dagger, Karina stood up as Boobie also did, "You said you were snow wolves,why are you here in the woods, seems obvious that you are migrating or running from something"he asked looking at them all.

"we're not running from something,we are looking for something".

"I see.....so what are you looking for?".

"well...we"Karina hesitated as another werewolf interrupted.

"Alpha,I smell blood, not just any blood but a human blood"

"what are they doing here" Rajirr mumbled as his eyes turned a bit pale.

The scent was getting stronger as they drew near. On reaching the scene, their mouths were left open including Boobie's, they could see a pile of human bodies, none of their faces were recognized as the pack could see that they were all squashed, blood stains and spills was over the place. Looking at the scene, Boobie's eyes turned yellowish green while the other packs was that of pale.

This was because werewolves were predators,they often eat humans as food when they are hungry, their eye color change was a sign that they had found food but what brought about the change wasn't hunger,it was the intensity of the smell.

"who did this?"Boobie asked no one in particular.

"I can sniff another complicated blood scent"Karina said picking up an arm,"I know who did this" she said turning around them.

"Karina who?!"they all asked her.

"Karina, what could have done this much damage", Boobie finally asked with much fear in him,he knew that whatever that caused this damage was a demon werebeast.

"Boobie!, you have to tell me exactly what your alpha was?".
