I lay awake in my bed, thinking of all the possibilities of meeting Zac Efron. well, I can only wish but  have many more important issues on hand,  for instance we have school  in 1 hour and the joy part, it being my first day to school.Which makes me even more anxious of being the new girl in middle of a senior year.

Ughhhhh... being the new girl brings all the attention to me and well attention brings drama, which we definitely don't need in senior year.This all wouldn't be happening if my father hadn't decided to move us from the Louisiana to California in the first place .All i wanted was to peacefully graduate and go to Yale University as mom always wished for.But it seems like ,nothing goes according to my plan.

Sighing ,I turn around in my comfy bed with no signs of sleep, listening to birds chirp and staring at this fine specimen sleeping next to me peacefully. Well, you might think he is my boyfriend but no he is my twin brother Ethan ,though I'm older than him by whole 2 minutes.He definitely has my mom's blond hair, dimples, and plum lips and baby blue eyes.I guess that's why he is such a ladies man and on the other hand i've got dad's brown hair, with olive skin and hazel eyes .I was pulled out of my thoughts by this annoying clock ,indicating  only 40 minutes left to get ready for school.I sighed again, throwing the comforter from myself and hitting the snooze button on the clock .Atleast one of us had the peaceful sleep ,thinking this I make my way to washroom to get ready.Well standing there and taking in my appearance of messy hair and bags under my eyes.Well , considering i haven't gotten even a single second of sleep this was expected .Taking my blue toothbrush ,applied toothpaste and started brushing.After that ,chucked out my clothing and hopped in for hot shower .After taking a warm and relaxing shower , pulled out my black stockings ,white crop top ,my leather jacket and my boots.Ater dressing myself ,brushing my hair and leaving them open .Then took the concelar out of my makeup bag and conclead my under eye bags,next used mascara for the eyelashes and pink tinted lip balm.I looked in the mirror,feeling satisfied with my look i go out .Ethan was already awake and siting on the bed yawning.

 "You look good sister"he says with a smile

"Thanks" replying him with smile .Went near the night stand and  grabbed my wallet ,phone ,earings and my favourite bracelet,which mom got me for my birthday.It was a simple gold charm bracelet showing a heart-shaped locket, mine and moms initial letters charm.This was the last gift ,i ever recieved from her .That horrible incident took place right after my birthday,thinking of that day its still sends chills down my spine.

"Ams come on ,its time for breakfast" hearing my eldest brother Nate shout for me ."coming " I shout back,taking my handbag and placing few books and my wallet  in it .As i reached down,my nostrils were hit with the most amazing smell of pancakes , scrambled eggs and bacon. Nate handed me out the plate with pancakes topped with whipped cream ,strawberries and blueberries  and on the side eggs and two pieces of bacon, perfectly the way i like it. 

"Thanks Nate, you're the best" i said siting on the stool and digging in my plate 

Nate handed me my coffee, strong yet sweet ."When will you leave for work ?"I asked sipping on my coffee ,

"Once I get your bedroom done " he replys smiling.

Before we could talk anything else  Ethan took my bacon and shoved in his mouth .

"Get your own plate Ethan!"making me shout and hit him.No one means n one touches my food.

"Nate doesn't makes for me"He replys trying to make a sad face.

"You aren't a kid anymore Eth, make one for yourself" Nate replies brushing him off.

"No , thanks bro "ethan replies taking my second peice and walking out of kitchen

 "I'll be waiting for you in the car Ams"he shouts  taking the car keys and his book bag he walked out.

"Finish your breakfast and have a good day at school"Nate pecked my head and walking out of the kitchen.

Siting there ,staring  at our family photo thinking of that moment we all looked so happy . Mom and dad were smiling ,I was in the middle with Nate and Cameron on my side and nate was standing next to mum holding her hand.We all were so happy , i missed those days and i missed mom .

"She is always going to be with you"I hear Cameron my second eldest brother pulling me out of my trance .

"yeah,its just i miss her so much" Cameron huggs me from behind "I'm sure ,she misses you too princess.Out of all four of us , you were favourite" he replies pecking my forehead.

"yeah"giving him a sad smile. 

"Now, if u don't want to be late on your first day ,get your butt moving" Cam says making me look at the clock it was 8:40 am,this means i was zoned out.I quickly kept my plate in the sink , saying my byes and left .

"You are so early sis" Ethan says sarcastically,as we sat in his car .He starts driving us to school.

"Are u ready for it sis?Ethan enquired "well sure" .Here comes ,my first day of school.what a joy. Note the sarcasm.

I sat there ,playing with my bracelet "She is with us, dont worry Ams" Ethan says giving me a small smile.

 Looking up at him with a faint smile.That day is still as fresh as yesterday in my mind ,the day we lost our mom. Ethan and I were 15 years , Nate was 21 years and was about to complete college and well Cameron was 18 years recently graguated and was starting college.We all were such a perfect family.Dad and my brothers were and are still very protective about me , while on the other hand mom was my bestfriend.A smiled played on my lips remembering all those happy memories.

"We are going to reach school"Eth says ,and  the scenery started changing from trees to the school parking lot.I could see students all around ,talking having fun with their friends ,cars all around the parking lot.As soon as Ethan got the spot he parked his blue Audi Q7 in the space .We could already feel all the eyes on us ,the murmurs going all around.

"Dont worry sis,i've got you always "Ethan says opening his door an goes out ,waiting for me to come out "You can do this" muttereing to myself ,taking my handbag  I went out.

As, expected all the eyes were on us.Ethan locked up and we started walking towards the main entrance.From the left eye I could see the football field , jocks were all lined up and the coach was shouting something .

 "Hey there, are you new here ?" the voice took my attention from the football field to the person standing there.  I saw three girls standing there , one directly infront of us and rest two behind her.

"Hi , I'm Kaitlyn.It's nice to meet you" she says too sweetly batting her eyelashes at my brother , completely ignoring me .

Zoning out of their conversation and was looking at the football field.Don't get me wrong, I wasn't checking out boys ,well maybe i was a little.Football was my moms favourite sport , she trained me a lot .I stand there smiling of the fond memories of Mom teaching me football.

"where are u lost? "ethan asks bringing me out of my memories

 Seems like his conversation ended with whatever her name was .

"nothing "i shrugged.

I felt someone was staring at me ,before i could see that person,Ethan started dragging me into the building .

"We still haven't gotten our schedules "he says rushing towards the building.

 "If only you didn't waste time in flirting with that fake barbie"I said rolling my eyes.

 "Thats not true, we were just having a friendly conversation"Ethan justified 

Rolling my eyes, we kept walking because knowing my brother  it wasnt just a conversation. Well ,you definitely see why girls are attracted to him, all credit goes to mum.

"You both must be Ethan and Amelia knight, joining Sevit high today.?"The lady behind the computer enquired .

."Yes thats us "Ethan replies politely ."Okay ,here are your schedules and the locker numbers .Your first period in homeroom in building A, room number 33"she said handing out our timetables and locker numbers.While Ethan completed the formalities ,I zoned out again."Earth to Amelia" 

"You have been zoning out a lot Ams" he says ,while we were finding lockers...Hmmming in response . 

He is right, I didnt even realize when we had reached the staff room ,nor any other things.I need to get my act together thinking this to myself .

"Here is your locker and mine is leaving 3.Keep your stuff in , its our homeroom anyways" he says and goes to keep his stuff out.Keeping my few books in,I started comparing mine and his schedules,we had most of the classes same ,leaving AP calculus and AP chemistry.

"All done?"he asks making me look up .

"yeah,Why aren't u in chem n calculus with me ?"I asked him a little pissed about it.

"You know how much i hate both subjects AMs" he replies making a funny face.

I just glared at him , and he starts walking towards our homeroom class. 

Here comes my first day.
