Chapter Eight

298 Words
I woke up back in my room after the best birthday I could have asked for... After our amazing kiss, Jack walked me back to my bedroom and wished me goodnight... It was something out of one of those fairytale movies. I got up and began to get everything ready for my last few weeks of school at Lupine Valley (the name is obviously quite fitting). I showered, picked out my outfit for the day... Simple Black Sabbath t-shirt, some ripped black jeans, combat boots and a leather jacket. I did my make up with dark eyeshadow, cat eyeliner and a plain lip gloss. I straightened my hair and put my necklace back on that Jack had given me... My mind wandered to him... 'What was he doing? Was he thinking about me?' I figured I'd see him at some point today as tonight was the last football game of the season before all the seniors left for college... My family were huge football fans and obviously to keep up appearances with the humans we have to socialise with them. I ran downstairs, grabbed a piece of toast for breakfast and threw my bag over my shoulder. I made my way into the garage towards my motorbike, an amazing Harley Davidson Iron 883 Sportster... I loved motorbikes and classic American muscle cars, it seemed like a nice day for a ride though. I put my dark purple open faced helmet on and my sunglasses and started her up, it was like music listening to the purr of the engine. I set off to school to meet Bonnie in the parking lot as she has never been a fan of bikes, she can be quite nervous and jittery at times but she's the greatest friend I could ask for.
