Chapter 6

I was finally ready for my 18th birthday party. My hair long and curled, smokey eyed make up with red lipstick and my black dress fitted perfectly.

I walked over to the dresser where Jack had left my gift from him. I unwrapped it and there was a small velvet box with a beautiful platinum necklace inside with a moon charm, I may be angry with Jack but this present is gorgeous. I put the necklace on I front of my mirror and suddenly there was a knock at my door

"Come in" I shouted

My father stepped into the room and stopped when I turned around to face him

"Do I look okay?" I ask him

"You look so beautiful Rox" he replied

I blushed and knew it was time to head downstairs to the hall that my mother and younger sister had decorated especially.

There were so many guests that had come especially for my birthday. I couldn't help but focus my attention onto Jack, it felt different around him and I couldn't figure out why... He'd always been gorgeous but now with his muscles, tattoos and long hair he was irresistible in his suit. I brushed my thoughts to the back of my mind and enjoyed my party. It slowly approached midnight and was almost time to shift under the full moon, everybody made their way outside to the clearing in the forest.

Once it became midnight I could feel my wolf begin to take over so I slipped out of my expensive dress and turned into my black and white wolf

Whilst I shifted, so did the rest of wolves in attendance and we all ran off into the woods.
