It's the next morning and I don't know why I should wake up, let me just sleep a little bit more ...
*Bang*
"Big Brother Harrison Good morning!!!"
Sylvia greeted at the top of her voice while she ran to the next room to do that also to the others.
"What a sight, seeing you sleep like you had a hangover"
Power my friend who was at the party was now at my door staring down at me.
" What are you doing here Power?"
"Can't I come see a friend anymore?"
"That's unlike you"
"Its been long I've been here, still looks at good as ever"
"As you can see now, I'm in the shittiest mood possible so what do you want?"
"You need to clear your head boy... I'll be downstairs waiting "
He said as he walked back downstairs, he's familiar with everyone here so they probably let him in easily since he was my childhood friend, we grew a little distant along the way but nothing out of the ordinary.
He wouldn't be here for no reason so for now let me entertain his fantasy I said in heart as I got up from bed and readied up myself to go wherever the wind blows.
Checking my phone and no present call from her, I guess it's good we set apart this way. Went down and saw power chatting with my mum so wholeheartedly or so it looked.
" Good morning Mummy"
"Good morning Harrison, have you eaten something? "
"Yes I have ... Power shall we start going?"
"Ah yes....Thank you ma for your time" Power said
"You're always welcome " she replied
That irritated me since it didn't seem genuine to me
"Power so now are you going to tell me where we are headed to?
"The Gym...." he replied blatantly
".....You need to pick up your body" he continued
I didn't oppose the idea since I needed to find a way to pass time till I get into the university and I keep suspecting he know I'm no longer with Anita since he never approaches me when I'm with her.
We actually walked out way out to the gym, and doing that power kept getting more and more attention while stopping to greet every soul that passes by, of course he's taller than me, older than me, and more bulkier in statue than me.
We finally got to the gym and walked up to the attendant just to find out we had to subscribe, oh well no biggie.
"So uh where do I sign beautiful?"
Power said while Flirting with the attendant and all that, which took up time again and we had to start the next day a routine to train stamina and build body through an extended 3 months shot.
After registering for gym, it seems this guy doesn't want to end here.....
"Are you hungry?" Power asked
"Um sure!" I replied
We walked again another short distance as power greeted and approached every girl on the road while introducing me to most of them he already knew.
"What a good womanizer you are?" I said to power
"And that's you lack"
"Huh?" I asked
"Nevermind that we're here, let's go get some food"
I nodded as that was something we both agree on seeing as how we both love food alot, still kept pondering what he meant by that's what I lack, of course I know it isn't womanizing he was talking about, there was something else but it just felt blank in my mind.
"Damn!!! it's been forever since we went out like this and whose fault is that?"
*Silent*
"Why did you have to get a girlfriend when you know these things don't last"
*Silent*
"And out of all girls Anita? Like what got into you bro?"
*Silent*
"There are different ways to show a girl you love her without dating her or even feel what you're feeling now"
As I thought he knew we broke up, and he's looking for faults like a child, we did say we wouldn't fall in love as childhood friends but it's not like it's a permanent thing, I just don't like complicated stuffs .... anymore.
"I'm not silent because I don't want to answer you or anything like that, I'm silent because you as my childhood friend should know I don't like talking when eating and you know why"
"I thought people Change but I guess you're a hard nut to crack huh?"
"Same goes for you too"
"Awwn that's too harsh coming from you " Power jested
"Don't spoil the mood power, we can continue our conversation when we finish eating "
"If you say so, but this was just the perfect mood to gist about stuffs like this"
"We can do that over Snack break Power"
"But you don't like snack breaks"
*Silent*
"Huh, you're keeping me on silent again?" Power said as he chewed food in his mouth"
Power always had this kind of Elder brother talking to a junior brother side when it comes to him talking to me, and it totally pisses me off especially since he's the only child of his parents.
Few moments later we were done with eating and I settled the bills ... again. As usual he started flirting with the waitress while there, all I could do was watch and learn seeing as that was what he said I should do
"Are you done? isn't she going to be back" I asked
"Well either way I don't plan on spending the who day with her seeing as I already got what I wanted"
"Oh really? and what did you get?
"Her Interest"
"What?"
"You don't understand ladies Harrison..."
"And you do?" I interrupted
"Allow me to finish" he said
"What are interests? he asked
"Well they are added percentage on a particular material or idea depending on the situation"
"Good Good" Power complimented
"Now that I got her interest what do you think she'll do?"
"I don't know, maybe nothing what can she do?"
"You're not thinking of this the right way man, I got her interest, what she'll do is when the given time to give back What was given with interest reaches and I don't pay back, what do you think she'll do?
"...."
"She'll come for her interest boy. Keep that in mind" Power lectured...
