POV: Angel The drive to Leo’s estate felt like a slow march into uncharted territory. The city fell away into rolling hills and quiet roads, each turn carrying me further from the life I knew. When the towering iron gates of his estate came into view, my breath caught. They swung open with an eerie ease, as though they were expecting me.
