The cameras flashed. Journalists leaned forward. The casting director smiled, gesturing toward the massive screen behind them as it flickered to life. > "Announcing the Official First kiss First Love Script — the Most Anticipated Romantic Drama of the Year." Photos of the lead actors appeared, one by one. Jason’s photo first — the charismatic, elusive male lead. Then Mira — cold, stunning, fierce. The crowd erupted into cheers. Reporters scribbled notes. Fans clapped. But before the noise could settle, the director raised a hand. "And now... your second female lead — the one who will play the rival love interest and childhood friend of the male lead…" Everyone leaned in. The screen changed again. A sharp click. Then a photo. > ARIANNA REESE. Dressed in white, lips curled in a serene, victorious smile. The crowd gasped. Whispers broke out immediately. "Wasn’t Mira offered the role first?" "Why would Arianna accept a secondary role?" "Arianna and Mira in one film? Isn’t that… dangerous?" Mira didn’t move. At first. Then her jaw tightened. She turned slowly — her icy gaze locking on Arianna, who had just entered the press hall in a silver gown, her heels clicking like gunshots against the floor. Their eyes met. And everything else disappeared. There was no smile on Mira’s face. Only quiet, simmering hatred. The kind that didn’t come from petty jealousy or shallow competition. The kind that said: > “I haven’t forgotten what you did.” Arianna, never one to back down, smirked. The smirk of someone who had taken something precious — and gotten away with it. She walked over gracefully, stopping just beside Mira at the front of the stage. Whispered under her breath, low enough that the microphones wouldn't catch it: > “Still bitter? I told you, Mira… what’s yours is mine. Whether it’s roles, fans… or men.” Mira didn’t respond immediately. But her eyes — those cold, predator-sharp eyes — narrowed. > “You stole what you couldn’t earn. But you won’t keep it. Not this time.” Arianna laughed lightly, stepping forward to wave at the cameras like a perfect star. But behind the lights and glamor, the war had just been reignited.
