-Naysha-
"Naysha! I'm so glad you're here!" Anya jumped in her arms and hugged her tightly. She nervously hugged her back. What was happening?
She pulled away from Anya, her eyes still glued on Seth and the strange man that was laying unconsious on the floor.
"What is happening? Who is this man?"
Seth stepped away from the man, whatever kind of weapon he was previously holding had now somehow disappeared. He was acting all tough as always, but the look on his eyes was definitely filled with worry.
Anya gave her an awkward smile. "I didn't know who he is, I just stepped in the balcony for a minute in order to get some fresh air and, well, he was there, and, one thing lead to another and, boom, we're kissing. Then, Seth comes out of nowhere and knocks him unconsious!" she explained with her eyes locked on the man on the floor.
Her gaze shifted from Anya to Seth. Yes, he wasn't the smoothest guy there was, but for him to come out of nowhere and hit this man didn't seem like something he would do, regardless of the fact that she hadn't known him for that long. It just felt wrong in her soul.
No, there had to be something more. Plus, this guy wasn't dressed for a party, there was no doubt about that. No ordinary party guest, no matter how quirky would show up to such an event wearing cargo pants and a balaclava.
Seth sighed. "He's the brother of one of our familie's biggest enemies. He came here to hurt me" he admited, his eyes locked on the guy. He was too eager to get back to what he was in the middle of doing before she had sturtled them.
"And you thought that killing him first was the only option?" Because she had no doubt that he was about to do exactly that had she not interrupted him. He was far too protective over Anya and he didn't seem like the kind of guy to bother asking any kind of questions.
Anya nodded dramaticaly. "That's what I've been trying to tell him!" She went closer to the unconsious man and knelt beside him. "He knows how much you love me, he knows that the only way to hurt you is through me. He had his chance to do so, but he didn't. We both know what this means" she explained softly, looking at her brother with pleading eyes.
"If you think that I'll let you throw away your life next to a scumbag like Matthias Rosi, then you're definitely insane!" he barked at her and charged towards the man once again.
Anya tried to block his way, but he pussed her aside and grabbed him by the collar of his jacket, lifting him from the ground. The sudden movement brought the man back to his senses, but he was still too disoriented, just a small painful groan left his lips as Seth dragged him in no time all the way to the balcony railling. He fiercely pushed him against him, with his one hand still gripping firmly his collar. Half of his body was dangling above the ground, he just needed to let go of his collar and the man would have a nasty fall.
He paused and looked at Anya that was sobbing silently. She looked about to collapse.
"I'm doing you a favour. It's easier this way" He was determined to end this man's life. Any second now, he would release him from his grip and end his life. Just like that.
This ruthless, cold side of him was something new to Naysha. But still, she wasn't scared, even to her own surprise. No, she was disapointed, she was upset, she was even mad at him. But she wasn't scared. She could understand his motives, the way he thought this was a black-or-white kind of situation. But she also wished that he could understand Anya's view on things for a change.
She couldn't wrap her mind around how could Anya care so much about a man she had just met. And she could sense that there was something more to this whole situation, some kind of deeper concrern that Seth had had about all this. But this wasn't neither the time nor the place to try and figure this stuff out.
"Stop it! Seth, put this man down right now!" she comanded in a voice that didn't seem to belong to her.
