CHAPTER 2 ; ME VS YOU

I bit my lip regretting throwing that bracelet, “What happened?” Ezekiel asks standing next to me, “I…” I didn’t finish my sentence once I saw Axel coming inside to probably kill me. I panicked, thinking where to hide but then I saw Axel already here, “You…” He said in a stern voice, I hid behind Ezekiel gripping on his shirt, “I’m sorry ok?! Please don’t kill me!” He circled me and grabs my arm, but then Ezekiel held the other. I looked at the two boys as they make eye contact. It was pure silence and I suddenly saw the girl that I hit looking confused. “Dude, let go.” Ezekiel said looking straight into his brother’s eyes. “And why would I do that, when she literally ruined my date?” I scoffed.

“You guys aren’t 10 anymore, solve this in a conversation instead of tearing out each other’s skins off” Ezekiel advised, I glare at Axel making him do the same.

Time check – 9 : 23

Me and Axel sit next to each other, while Ezekiel is in front of us. “So, what happened?” I was about to speak when Axel suddenly interrupted. “Me and Cynthia just came back from our date and we were about to kiss, until something fell on top of her head and we found her stupid bracelet you gave her.” I scoffed and he looks at me confused, “Please, I didn’t even know you guys were down there, and your welcome Zeik, because if it wasn’t for me you would just be hearing something traumatizing later tonight.” I stated, looking at Axel with hatred. I then heard Ezekiel laugh, “I’m traumatized every night.” I chuckled. “So I guess its no one’s fault.” He said standing up, I then glanced at Cynthia who was glaring, poking thorns in my eyes. I heard Axel sigh and stand up, going over to Cynthia who then acted all pouty to him. “Did it hurt?” he asks as she nods, a frown on her face. I rolled my eyes and stood up as well, “I’ll just go to bed, this is a waste of time.” I then went downstairs to the guest room where I ranted to chickentenders about how Axel was just crap.

Morning ; Friday ; 7 : 20

I woke up the sun hitting my eyes, I then looked at my phone seeing the messages that chickentenders sent me saying bad things about Axel making laugh, I replied and got up and went downstairs seeing pancakes on the dinning table.

“Oh, good morning Lilah.” Mike greeted, I sat down next to him drinking some water. “The boys are still asleep?” Tiffany asks, I shrugged not knowing how to reply. “Just eat up sweetie, and you can just go with Axel to school.” She said patting my back putting some pancakes on my plate, “Thank you tiff.” I digged in.

An hour later already late for school, I was waiting for Axel to finish getting ready, and I’m already done, wearing a plain white knitted crop top, and some high waisted jeans that tiffany made me borrow. I then saw him focused on his phone while walking down the stairs. “Ready to go?” he asks and I nod. We both walked out of the house saying goodbye to his parents and getting in his car.

At school ; 8 : 40

Got out of his car with people staring at me. Never liked this kind of attention as it was so uncomfortable. Some people whispering and some minded their own business but they still glanced, “Axel!!” Adrien shouted running up to him, they both laughed, “Where’s Cole?” Adrien pointed to where he was and he nods. Adrien looks at me and smirks, “Delilah, always a pleasure.” I smiled, “Nice to see you again Adrien.” Axel felt uncomfortable and put his hand on my shoulder, “I think, you should go now, don’t you think?” He pinches me a little making me hiss, “Err, yeah…bye.” I waved at both of them and walked inside the school.

Time check – 10 : 27

It’s finally lunch time, my favorite part of school, besides after school of course. I went to my locker passing by students who were going to the cafeteria, I never went there to eat because it was just to crowded and so disgusting, like the tables were never wiped, a lot of stains in the seats too. It was to much for me. I saw Axel and his friends looking at me while giggling, I furrowed while opening my locker and I screamed out loud seeing a big fake spider jumping out, I fell on my butt, panting. They all laughed at me, and I groaned as I look at Axel who was smirking. He got his phone out and I got a notification. ‘That’s what you get for ruining my date.’ Is this guy really that immature? I texted back not giving up that easily. ‘It’s on.’

It's after school and I just got out of the library as I finished a report that was due on Monday. I then heard shouting in the halls I then realized who it was and saw Axel furious holding his soccer uniform all torn, I laughed and he saw me, I waved at him sarcastically making him know I was the one who did it. The grip on his shirt tightened and walked off. A girl noticed and walked towards me, “You were the one who did it?” She asks and I nodded still can’t stop laughing, “Nice one.” I looked up at her seeing her smile, “I’m Yvette by the way, one of his not so close friends, but is always invited to his parties.” She nudges me and I nod understanding. “You must be Delilah? Are you really that close with him?” I hesitated before speaking, “I-I guess you can say that, but I would say I’m closer with his brother.” I replied making her eyebrows raise, “Like Ezekiel Wood? The good boy?” I nodded slowly confused at the good boy part. “Good boy?” She chuckles and explains, “Well I mean his brother is a player and hooked up with a lot of girls, but his brother on the other hand has only had two exes and never sexually interacted with one of them.” My mouth formed a “0” shape now understanding what she meant. “Do you want to probably grab a cup of coffee? I want to know all the details about the wood brothers.” I chuckled at her statement and I accepted the offer. “Great! But let’s wait for my friend Alisha, she has a major crush on Ezekiel and would love to know more about him.” That kinda made me feel a little hurt but I don’t know why, I don’t like him anymore, why would I be hurt by it?

Time check – 4 : 24

I’m sitting here with a glass of mocha latte in my hand. “Anyways, about the Wood brothers, what are they like?” Yvette asks leaning her body on the table, I looked around and back to the both of them, “W-well…they’re pretty annoying to be with, but overall I made a lot of fun, hilarious memories with them.” I heard Alisha sigh, looked at her smiling slightly, “Your so lucky that you grew up with them, I mean, imagine just talking to Ezekiel for a how many hours though…” She said imagining it, and I chuckled at how obsessed she is with him. “Why don’t you make your imagination real? I mean I can introduce you to him.” Her face lit up and sat closer to me, listening to what I was saying. “Really?!” I nodded happily making her happier. “Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you!!” She said hugging me tightly I looked over to Yvette who just shrugged as she sips on her coffee.

We decided to go to the mall and shop for a while and we are currently at a cosmetic store, trying out lip gloss. “Oooh, this makes my lips more pinkish, don’t you think?” Yvette asks me, I looked at the shade closely but I really didn’t see the difference, they just look the same as the previous lip glosses she tried, but nodded, not knowing how to answer. I looked out the store and saw Axel with a girl, I then got a idea and tapped Yvette’s shoulder gaining her attention, “I saw Axel with a girl, wonna help me sabotage their date?” She smirks and puts down the make up in her hand, she grabs Alisha’s hand, and we all went to the direction where they went.

We finally saw them sitting on a bench being all flirty making me gag, “So, what’s your plan Turner?” I thought for a while and whispered it into her ear. And it starts.

I walked up to them a little nervous, but definitely not regretting it. Once I got closer to them he looks up at me his smile fading. “There you are! Come on, your late for your fetish butt appointment!” He’s eyebrows furrowed, “What?” I was about to speak till Yvette came in, “Sir, your fetish butt appointment starts in about 15 minutes we have to go.” I glanced at the girl and the look in her eyes expresses how disgusted she is. Axel looks at her denying this and she stands up, “Umm, I think you should go to this appointment their talking about…” She walks away quickly away from us, and once she was gone from our sight, we burst out laughing. He looks at us jaw clenched, hands folded. “Ok that was to far Lilah, you even dragged Yvette to this? Jeez…” I put my hand on his back, “That’s what you get big boy.” I whispered in his ear, he suddenly pulls me in closer my nose hitting his. “Its on baby…” I started to hiccup, getting flustered. He smirks seeing me like this and pulls away leaving me and Yvette dumbfounded. “Is he always like this?” I didn’t know how to react as I just stared at him walking off in the distant.

Time check – 11 : 59 ; Still at the Wood house

I’m spending another night here as tiffany insisted, I chat chickentenders but he wasn’t answering making me overthink that this might be the start of us being distant, I got distracted by my thoughts when I heard sounds coming from Axels room, and when I mean sounds, is the sounds that I can’t explain. I covered my ears with a pillow but it didn’t seem to work. I groaned from how annoying their voices are but it suddenly stops, making relieved. But then I got a notification from chickentenders.
