A L Y S S A
Friday came around faster than I expected it too. Trey has barely said a word to me since Monday, which I don't know how I felt about it, on one side I'm glad because he annoys the hell out of me but then the other side, I feel like I kinda miss him, and our back and forth but tonight I need to forget about Trey and concentrate on my date with Drew, which I'm currently getting ready for.
"I can't believe you're choosing Drew over Trey." Scoffed Nadine.
"I know, you and Trey, just make sense!" Exclaimed Amanda.
"I'm team #Dralyssa all the way." Amy joined in with a grin.
"First of all, I am not choosing anyone over anyone, secondly, me and Trey do not make sense and thirdly me and Drew are no where near needing a ship name, thanks Amy."
"Oooo the b***h is out to play, fun!" Nadine said with a devilish smirk.
I rolled my eyes and sighed. "For the last time, this dress or this skirt and top?"
"Dress." Amanda pointed.
"Skirt." Nadine said.
"Yeah, I'm saying skirt too." Amy agreed.
"Skirt it is."
I already had my hair and make up done, all glam make up with my hair in a cute, wrapped bun at the top of my head with my loose stands at either side down. I changed in front of the girls in the bedroom, sliding on my pink blush wrapped skirt, with a white v neck top that shows my entire back only tying at the back of my neck, I slipped on a white pair of open toe, bandage heels that wrap around my ankles.
"Oh honey you look gorgeous! Drew isn't going to know what hit him!" Nadine gushed snapping her fingers.
"Don't let Trey see you like this, he'll go crazy with lust." Winked Amanda.
"I wish I had your body." Groaned Amy.
"Thanks, girls, you're the best."
Just as I was in a group hug with the girls my phone went off.
'Drew to me - I'm here gorgeous x'
"Drew's here, girls. I'm gonna go." I said picking up my clutch bag and shoving my phone inside of it.
"Have fun!" Amanda beamed.
"Don't do anything I wouldn't do." Nadine called out.
"Ignore her cause that's not a lot!" Amy called after her.
I just laughed and waved them off closing the door behind me, walking down to the dorm entry. I opened the door to see Drew stood leaning against his car like Trey once did and s**t he looked handsome. He wore a black pair of skinny jeans, with black air forces and a white Armani polo t-shirt that showed off his muscular body. A big, bright smile appeared on his face when he set his eyes on me.
"Wow, Lyssa. You look- gorgeous. So damn gorgeous." He sank his pearly whites into his bottom lip.
"Thank you, Drew. You don't look so bad yourself." I smiled tilting my head.
He opened the car door for me and gestured for me to get in. "After you, beautiful."
I stepped into the passenger seat with grace and watched as Drew ran round the car and hopped into the drivers seat, starting the engine and taking off.
"So where we going?" I asked out of curiosity.
"You'll soon find out, lovely."
As we drove to where ever Drew had planned on taking me, we fell into a comfortable conversation, it was easy and light with Drew, no arguing or him annoying me, no witty come backs, it was just simple and pleasant. After about 20 minutes of driving we pulled into a restaurant where the valet took Drew's car to park it. He held out his hand and I took it with a smile on my face.
As we walked in an older, pretty blonde greeted us. "Good evening, Mr Smith, Miss. I've got your balcony table set up, ready for you."
"Thank you, Lucy." Drew smiled at her before placing his hand on the small of my bare back leading me to our table.
"Mr Smith? Are you like a regular here or something?" I asked, smirking.
You know what they say, curiosity killed the cat.
"My parents own this place, lovely."
"Oh, I had no idea, there's me thinking this was your 'date place.'" I said through a nervous laugh.
"My date place?" He asked with a smug smile.
"Yeah, y'know like where you bring all your dates?"
"How low do you think of me?" He asked, laughing.
"I don't, I-just.. Never mind." I could feel my cheeks burning and I knew they were burning all kinds of pinks and reds.
"You're cute."
We reached our table and he pulled my seat out for me, like a real gentleman, then he sat across from me at a candle lit table with a small bunch of flowers in the middle.
"This place is really, really beautiful." I said in awe as I looked around the place.
"Thank you, my parents treat this place like their third child." He chuckled.
We fell into another pleasant conversation, he really showed interest in what I had to say and asked me questions showing he wanted to know more about me. He was actually really sweet, which I appreciated, but even though I was here with Drew my mind kept wondering back to Trey, what was he doing? Did I hurt his feelings by accepting this date? Is he mad at me? Then I felt stupid and took it all back the moment I saw him enter the restaurant with a gorgeous, red head on his arm.
"Drew! My man, thanks for the date idea." Trey called out from across the room sticking his thumb up to Drew.
"You told him to come here for a date?" I asked bewildered.
"I did, y'know more custom for my parents, means more money for the family, and I know how Trey dates, he will spend a lot of money here just to impress someone he ain't gonna call in the morning." Drew explained as he dug into his spaghetti.
This left me in a thought of my own, Trey really did have a reputation for himself, as a man who takes a girl on a wonderful date, sleeps with her then ducks her calls for the next month until she gives up. I can't believe I felt bad for that dumb ass! I was not going to let him ruin this date, not for me, not for Drew. I was going to give Drew the best date I could give and that includes giving Trey a run for his money.
We ate and had fun, he made me laugh with his stupid sense of humour and the food here was soooo good, I went with a spicy chicken Cesar salad, with garlic baby potatoes.
"Excuse me for a moment, I'm just going to the restroom to freshen up." I announce before standing up and leaving the table.
I walk into the ladies room and instantly call Amanda who I knew was with Nadine.
"Hello? Why you calling me aren't you still on your date?" Amanda said as soon as she answered.
"I'm in the toilet, you'll never guess what?!"
"What?!" Nadine burst out.
"So Trey's turned up with some girl and Drew was the one who told him to come here! I'm completely bugging out!"
"What the hell?! He's with some random girl, at the same place as you and Drew?!" Amanda exclaimed.
"Yes! I don't know what to do! I'm having a good time with Drew but Trey is completely dampening the mood for me!"
"Because you have feelings for him!" Nadine scoffed.
"I do not have feelings for Trey Lake." I said disgusted.
"Oh you soo do." Amanda agreed with Nadine.
"Just ignore Trey as much as you can and pay all your attention to Drew, finish you food as fast as you can and get the hell out of there." Amanda suggested.
"Yeah, you're right. Soon as we're done I can leave, right?"
"Right." They replied in unison.
"Thanks guys! I'll see you later."
"Byeee!" They boomed down the phone.
I shoved my phone back in my clutch bag and took a deep breath as I looked at my reflection. I adjusted my make up, applied some more lipstick then washed my hands before exiting the bathroom.
As soon as I stepped out the door I felt a large, strong arm pull me to the side and push me against the wall, I felt hot breath on my neck, and a minty mixed with cologne smell filled my senses. It didn't take me long to realise it was Trey.
"Wh-what are you doing?" I stammered.
"Wondering what you're doing here with him instead of me." He purred into my neck sending shocks through my body and a shiver down my spine.
He rested one hand on the wall while the other dropped from my waist to my bare thigh slowly sliding up and down.
"I know you've been thinking about me, Parkes. I've been thinking about you too."
"I don't know what you're on about." I said breathlessly.
"Oh, I think you do. I saw you keep looking over at me and my dinner companion. All you had to do was reject Drew and that could of been you." He whispered into my ear. "You smell so damn good."
"Trey-" I began.
"Say my name again and I might just loose control." The words rolled off his tongue as his hand continued to stoke my thigh.
"We can't do this, we're both on dates." I wasn't exactly convinced myself.
"Then ditch the bore and come with me. I dare you."
His lips fell from my ear down to my neck where he planted little kisses and playful bites and nibbles sending my knees weak and my legs to jelly.
"I can't do that to Drew- it's not fair, I really should get back." I could barely get my words out, everything he was doing just felt so good I couldn't find the energy to remove myself from his hold.
"If you go back you'll be sat there wondering what could've happened next if you had only just stayed with me." He said in between placing kisses along my jaw line.
"We, have. To. Stop." I lowly gasped.
"I'll stop when I know you mean it." He continued with his playful nibbles along my jaw.
"Trey."
"That's my name, Parkes. Now tell me, are you panties wet yet?"
Damn.
"Mhm."
He pulled back keeping his hands in place and pierced his dark eyes into mine, there was a glint of something other than lust or jealousy, it was something real and raw.
"You look real good tonight too, by the way. Too good to be here with Drew."
"Trey, Drew is your friend, mine too."
"Drew is a friendly rival, even more so now we want the same girl." He lifted one hand to use his finger to stroke my cheek, down to my jaw then onto my bare neck.
"I-I can't do this, I'm sorry." I said obviously flustered as I bend down under his arm and left him stood there with a sinister smirk along his lips that only he could make look good.
"I'll catch you, Parkes." He called after me.
I got back to the table to Drew who was on the phone.
"She's back now, I'll talk to you later, Mom." And with that he hung up and shoved his phone in his jeans pocket.
Oh, my god, the cutie was on the phone to his mom!
"Hey, is everything okay? I was getting worried about you." He smiled at me.
"Yeah, sorry, I got lost, this place is so big." I lied.
"It's no problem, as long as you're okay. So you want some desert?"
LOL, just had it.
"Yeah, desert sounds good." I plastered a false smile on and tried to forget what just happened with Trey.
"Shall we order here or somewhere else? I don't want you too feel uncomfortable."
"Why would I feel uncomfortable?" I shrugged.
"You didn't seem too thrilled when you saw Trey walk in."
"Oh, no I was just surprised. I wasn't expecting to see him here."
"That's good then, I was worried that you were having a bad time."
"No, not at all, I'm having a lovely time."
"I'm glad to hear it, maybe there'll be another time?"
"Yeah, maybe."
We ordered desert and finished our date at the dorm entry and a kiss on the cheek. As I began walking back to my dorm room, I was stopped my someone tugging on my arm from behind.
Trey.
"I thought you were still at the restaurant?" I asked confused.
"I left right after you, come on, we're going somewhere." He said before grabbing my hand and pulling me back our the dorm entry.
"Where we going?" I asked as I struggled to keep up with him.
"Somewhere."
"I gathered that, but where?"
"Just shut up and follow me, Parkes."
