Chapter Twelve : LOVE

Rusty leads me outside where a path was lit up with fairy lights, we walk down the path in the darkness with nothing but the sound of waves of water hitting the wooden dock, its really peaceful and the cold air feels amazing against my skin what was on fire form all the blushing. My mind wonders to what she said I know I find him attractive and that I like him I mean he makes me smile and he says cute stuff and he stayed with me when I had nightmares and he stayed by my side even when I told him about my past. All the cute stuff he does like give me those cute glares, his cute smile, the way he would compliment me and then be all goofy, the way he cares. I can't help the smile that creeps to my face at the thought of Lucas. Rusty barks at me "okay fine he's pretty great" I pet him and we keep walking along the lighted path. The is so cute and adorable and the whole week he was gone I missed having him around, sleeping in bed without him felt strange. I missed his voice, the feeling of his touch. I even missed the funny face he makes when I drive or how he scrunches up his nose whenever he doesn't like something.

I like that since he came into my life my nightmares disappeared and were replaced with dreams about him. I love that he found a way to get close to people that are like family to me. I love that he only wanted to talk about me when he met Ivy. I love that he introduced me to his mom. I love him. Oh s**t I have completely fallen for that Grey eyed goofball. Admitting that to myself was hard but Lucas would never feel that way about me, despite what he tells me I know no one could ever want to get involved with me my life is too complicated. The feeling of sadness overtook me. Rusty barks and we near the dock Nancy told me about and there stood Lucas as handsome as always nervously running his hand through his hair. The dock was decorated with twinkling lights, flowers blossomed on the outside of the dock. Walking up the three small steps that were covered in rose petals I notice Lucas still not aware of my presence "Lucas?" I whisper noticing the floor covered in rose petals. "Does your mom host weddings here because is she does the cleaning crew didn't do a good job at cleaning but to be honest it's pretty romantic and it's a gorgeous place" I say and Lucas steps towards me hiding something behind his back "No she doesn't I did this for you" he closes the distance between us by kissing me but all too soon he pulls away leaving me breathless "Olivia I know we have only known each other a couple of weeks but it feels like I have known you my whole life but I have fallen in love with the way you blush when I compliment you, the way you smile when I call you spidermonkey, the way you make me feel and most of all I have fallen in love with every detail of you even those flaws you hate so much but nothing can change how I feel about you. So spidermonkey will you please be mine?" my cheeks turn scarlet red my body on fire the tips of my ears flaming hot. He pulls a single red rose from behind his back my eyes meet his "yes, obviously yes" I say relief sparkled I'm his eyes and I connect our lips. His hands snake around my waist as mine found their way up to his neck, kissing him passionately looting everything I felt for him into the kiss.

He pulls away from me leaving me dazed I watch as he takes something off the rose and tie it around my wrist, a black bracelet shaped like angel wings with the words 'his angel' ingraved on the wings I smile at him, his gorgeous face covered with a blush and a spark in his eyes Rusty barks pulling us out of our moment making us laugh.

We walked back hand in hand with Rusty in front of us.

"so here are towels and Lucas you will be in the room next to here's, no and ifs or buts" she warns him showing me to my room "Goodnight you two" she walks to her room leaving us alone "Goodnight love" he walks into his room. I take a nice warm shower think8of what happened today.

I struggle to fall asleep and decided I can't sleep without Lucas, I got out of bed and walked to the door the wooden floor squeaking loudly under me opening my door just a little hearing a loud crack I can't sneak out without waking Nancy. Slowly I close the door tip toeing to the window opening it and jumping on the roof below me walking over to Lucas's bedroom window I softly opens his window climbing trough it and cuddled up next to him. Suddenly he grabs me pulling me flush against his chest and I wrap my leg around his " I knew you couldn't stay away" he whispers softly running his fingers through my hair I smile placing soft kisses on his chest "How?" I whisper looking up into his beautiful eyes, the moon glowed on his body through the open window leaving me breathless my hand automatically went to his face as I trace his facial features. His Grey eyes still holding my gazebi trace down the side of his face down his jaw over his soft warm lips, why would he want to be with someone like me when he is so "perfect" I think to myself. He smiles down at me cupping my face in his hand "yess you are" he whispers, I'm confused did I say something?

He saw the confusion on my face "you said perfect and I agree you are perfect" before I could respond he pulled me towards him as he connects our lips he lays on his back and I'm half leaning over him my chest on his. Our lips moved in sync. After a few minutes I pull away smiling at him, balancing myself on my arms he licked his lips and he tucked some of my hair behind my ears and cups my face in the palm of his hand "I know this is going to sound insane but if Jack and Rose from titanic can fall in love in a week then so can I and I have. You are the only person on my mind, you are all I think about. I have fallen for you and the day I realized it was in that week we were apart when I was away with work and you were surviving on caffeine just to survive finals, that was the week I realized it all I could think about was you, I wanted to hold you, sleep next to you just feel your touch, hear your voice but I couldn't and it drove me insane" I blushed a deep shade of red that caused Lucas to smile "I love you" be whispers and pulled me in for a kiss

I deepen the kiss slipping my tongue in his mouth and his hands pulled me closer to him by my waist pressing me hard against him. I rested my head on his chest "I've missed you" I whispered and he wrapped his arms around me.

My guitar balanced on my knee as I sat at the deck on one of the wooden benches playing my guitar not listening to anything els except the birds and small waves crash onto the sand under the deck whilst I sing along as I play

Something moving in the corner of my eye made me stop immediately turning towards the movement. Olivia was leaning against one of the posts smiling at me in nothing els but one of my shirts she looks gorgeous in only my shirt. Walking towards me I pull her onto my lap "goodmorning beautiful" I give her a quick kiss "morning, I never knew you could actually sing" she admits "I don't really sing in front of people ever since my dad died not even my mom" I answer "well the I'm flattered that I could have hear you sing at least twice even if it was without you knowing" a smile plastered on my face "hey my mother is out for a while having tea with a friend wanna go take a shower and a repeat of last time" I smirk and she blushes hitting me playfully on the arm "hey you are the one with no pants on with just underwear and my shirt" I wiggle my eyebrows with a smirk and she hits me again "perv" I act wounded by her words but she doesn't fall for it. She laced her arms around my neck "you know you really are more attractive when you don't talk" that's all she said before kissing me.

"but a shower sounds good but no repeat just shower that is if you wanna join me" she warns and I nod, she gets of my lap and walks off swaying her hips giving me a small view of her ass, f**k she's going to be the death of me. I quickly run to catch up with her taking my guitar with me.

She walked past me into the shower, my jaw clenched at her defined physique, how could she be so f*****g beautiful. Warm water pored down her body and she visibly relaxed, I slowly stepped closer to her and her eyes snapped to me as she eyes me up and down "your tattoo it's the s-same as mine without the bullets. Why?" I frowned "this is a very common tattoo Olivia" she eyes me suspiciously and nervousness rose inside me "I'm not sure about that but since I trust you I'll take your word on it" she explains and steps closer to me closing the distance between us her eyes dark with list my buldge grew at the way she looked at me. We quickly get dressed "this is not over" I say and we made our way down stairs
