“You feeling lonely now?”
Kaye slumped her shoulders and pouted at Mykel. They were walking out of the station but suddenly Kaye went quiet.
“Was I that obvious?”
He only nodded in response. The light in her eyes changed and it looked darker and gloomy. It was awesome how he could tell just from looking at her. Like an open book. Well, Kaye was a visible person, to begin with. She was also bad at lying or pretending.
Judging from her personality, she would get upset for a long time. She’d miss everyone. After all, for days that her apartment was fully occupied with family and friends but suddenly, the room would be silent and she was alone in the emptiness. He knew because they spent years together and somehow he figured her all out.
