Kaye flinched as she abruptly moved away from Mr. Cain. She was too engulfed in her problems that she forgot they were still on campus premises. She forgot to distance so as not to cause any more issues.
It was Damian. He looked at her with worry.
“Um, yes. Well, honestly no.”
“It’s hard being in this situation. I hope you will help her in the future,” Mr. Cain smiled at Damian asking for his support.
“Of course. I know how difficult it is.” Damian grinned. “She is blessed having you around, Mr. Cain.”
