Kaye yelled almost slamming the door open. The moment she heard the name Jenny spoke on the phone, she wanted to rush to Sweet Macys’. It was too important for her to ignore. But eventually, she calmed down and she cut herself short trying to take in the whole thing slowly but surely. Her mind just went into chaos knowing who was looking for her this time at the cafe.
First Amy, now it was Cain and Luis. She was getting surprises one after the other. She took her time preparing to leave especially when she was in the middle of baking a cake. Even if she was moving slowly, she still felt restless. She hasn’t contacted Cain since the day she left the apartment.
Aside from the initial confusion, she was both scared and embarrassed. They were all tangled in this mess. D
