Sue was jolted awake by her alarm and took a few minutes to fully awaken. She showered and had breakfast but Giles was still fast asleep so she left him and went to work. He was the boss of the magazine that she worked at and as the boss he could arrive whenever he liked. Sue headed for the lift then stopped, and like Matt she decided to take the stairs. On her way down she thought, okay, act normal, don’t do anything different than usual and you don’t want to draw attention to yourself.
The day dragged on and on for Sue, but at last it was over and she couldn’t wait to get home. As much as Sue loved her brother she hoped he had gone by the time she got home. Happily there was just a note to say thanks.
