“I was five when my mother and Albert took me to London. We travelled by train and it was a fantastic journey. We left Berlin at 10:21am and arrived in London Victoria at 11:37am the next day. I was to stay there for three weeks over the summer holidays. I love train journeys, always have. It’s the best way to travel. The rocking motion of the train and the sound as it goes over the tracks. Even now I still love to put my head out the window.”
