Peace. It does not mean to be in a place where there is no sound, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of all those things and still be calm in your heart. Do I feel peace? Serenity? Do I feel happiness or love? My mind reels off all the things I’m not feeling. In fact I don’t feel anything. Only emptiness shrouded in black. There’s nothing around me, nothing I feel inside and I am nothing. Consciousness, if you can call it that, eludes me and I slip away.  ******
