Chapter 58: What in the?!
Marisoll I was wearing my armour and had my bow and arrows along with my sword when I headed for the town a few miles east. Even now, I felt on edge expecting some creature from the darkness to appear, but nothing did, it was going to be so strange getting used to living a somewhat normal life again. The sun was shining hotly today now that the storm had cleared, I looked up smiling, the sweat from the heat felt like an old comfort, something I hadn’t felt for so very long and it was a welcome return. I walked along the dirt road out in the open and saw the town up ahead, there still did not seem to be anybody around, I hoped at the very least there would be unspoiled food to find, I don’t think anyone wanted to go back to hunting for food again and having a meat only diet, well, ex
