Fight in the swamp

1102 Words
On the battlefield, Ethel was smoking a cigarette as her tank advanced through a swamp area.   It was moving at a low speed because the fog prevented them from seeing the outside of what was in that place.   “This kind of environment gives me a terrible feeling, not to mention that there are skeletons in these places. It seems some kind of evil work where a vampire will appear.”   The communications officer looked at Ethel with some fear. “But maybe in this place that has magic there won’t be vampires too, or maybe the elves killed them.”   Ethel stroked his chin. “That is a good question to start communication with the Unterfeldwebel Alfons. I would like to ask him what is his opinion about this dilemma.”   The communications officer changed the frequency and began to communicate with the Unterfeldwebel Alfons.   Alfons who was sitting on one of the tanks looked at his communications officer who seemed to be making some strange gestures. “Unterfeldwebel Alfons the Unterfeldwebel Ethel has a doubt about whether he knows if there are vampires in this world.”   Alfons, after hearing that sighed. “It is a rather complicated question to answer. If it had been before, I would completely refuse to believe that vampires existed.   But only a few weeks ago we were fighting against a horde of zombies not to mention that we have been fighting skeletons which keep appearing.   There really could be vampires and werewolves, but I would not know if they are in this place or are simply among the rebels.   We would have to ask the headquarters for them… “   At that moment, Alfon’s words were interrupted when the noise of a spectral scream could be heard throughout the place.   The soldiers quickly readied their weapons, and the tanks pointed their submachine guns wherever that spectral scream might have come.   Ethan who was in his tank gulped “I don’t like this at all, fog, swamp and a dense fog that doesn’t allow us to see.   I think things are going to be more complicated than we expect. “   Alfons who was holding his Sb-1 submachine gun looked rather cautiously into the fog until he could hear a few footsteps.   The soldiers watched as elven soldiers came out of the mist, who seemed to be full of fear, for that reason they did not shoot but when they approached, they gave them some blows with the hilt of their weapons before placing black stone handcuffs on them.   In that way, they could not use their magic. The elves seemed to be in a state of shock because they could not answer any of the questions they were asked.   Alfons pointed his gun and looked seriously at the fog. “Everyone get ready to shoot, we don’t know what is behind the fog.   But what we are sure of is that if we don’t eliminate those things once they get close.   We will lose many lives in the process. I don’t think the elves have been running for their lives simply because they were scared. “   At that moment from the fog, some strange creatures emerged that seemed to be women with deformed faces.   All of them looked decrepit and seemed to have feathers on their bodies. The soldiers pointed their weapons and when those creatures gave a terrifying cry, the soldiers’ weapons began to be fired.   The bullets came out brutally. It just touched the lives of those strange women, but this was only the beginning.   This is due to the fact that hundreds of those creatures came out of the fog. The soldiers used their grenades while the submachine guns of the tanks fired.   The battle was extremely fierce and proved to be a true meat grinder for those strange creatures which, despite dying in large numbers, kept coming out of the fog.   Even the elven prisoners who had wet their pants because they were afraid that those creatures might kill them.   Although Alfons was also afraid, he knew that because of the support of the tanks and that since his entire battalion had submachine guns; it was impossible to lose the battle.   He was correct, as the suppressing fire was so powerful that these creatures could only get a few feet close before being struck down by the bullets.   All morning they were attacking the strange creatures that came out of the thick fog until the fog began to thin.   When it was completely disappeared, the true range of the bullets could be seen as there were thousands of corpses of those women.   Alfons looked to his communications officer for a link to headquarters.   “Here the Unterfeldwebel Alfons, reporting from the swamps of the moon realm, we had a confrontation all morning against some strange creatures that looked like feathered women.   I would like to know what kind of creatures they are and if we have to leave the corpses to rot or we have to start burning them to avoid a plague. “   “Unterfeldwebel Alfons let us review the information provided with our semi-elven advisers ...”   Alfons just waited while he saw the corpses with some sadness because they had created a real m******e in that place.   “Unterfeldwebel Alfons according to our half-elven advisers what you faced are called wild harpies.   They are a variety of harpies that live in the swamps or forests around the entire elven continent as opposed to the intelligent harpies that fight with the rebels.   The wild harpies appear to have been a by-product created by the malevolent elven gods while experimenting with some humanoid creatures.   According to the descriptions, their nails are highly poisonous and can generate thousands of diseases, not to mention that they are a real danger once they are dead.   Well, they will begin to contaminate the earth with their blood, so it is recommended that once they are killed, they are immediately cremated in another way.   A dangerous zone will be created where life cannot exist. We hope that your battalion can burn those corpses.   We also appreciate your information, as we will send reinforcement troops to guard the path of the swamp to prevent the harpies from creating problems. “   “Understood, we will eliminate the corpses.”   Alfons then began to shout “Soldiers with flamethrowers start burning the corpses of harpies and turn those corpses to ashes.   Soldiers support the troops with flamethrowers to finish burning these corpses, remember to wear protective equipment and gas masks because the blood of these creatures is toxic. “
