The advance in the mountains

On the front lines in the three elven kingdoms, the situation began to get complicated as the elves armed with their submachine guns and runic staves.

They managed to stop the advance of the soldiers at some points, however they could not stop the advance completely because the artillery and the air force were in charge of breaking their defenses.

Although what did change was the number of deaths on the side of the coalition, for the first time in everything that was carried out in the war, things had completely changed.

This mainly due to the fact that the death toll increased by 20% and the injured increased by 30%.

Because of this, the central command decided to add these snipers to the front line as opposed to special forces snipers.

They had the obligation to fight on the front lines to kill elves or enemies that could harm the troops.

For what is only a matter of days, thousands of snipers were brought to the battle fronts.

One of them had been trained by Leuco. It was Soldaten Pierrick, a young man with black hair and green eyes, who was sent to the most remote area of the dark forest kingdom.

Which was a large area of mountains which had to be taken because behind it was a large city which was a strategic point because it connected the entire north with the south.

For what they did get to take that city, things would be much easier for the coalition soldiers because using those roads would help to quickly end the offensive in the kingdom of the black forest.

Pierrick who was with the 46th Army looked at the mountain with some concern because he did not know how difficult it would be to take that place.

When they advanced for a while, an explosion could be heard in front.

So all the soldiers started running towards some cover because they had shot at one of the RK1 tanks.

Fortunately, he was able to withstand the shot, so the tank crew quickly turned the turret and pointed towards where the elves who had shot him were.

When they fired their explosive ammunition, the hole where the elves were exploded and pieces of flesh and blood came out of that place.

But at that moment, another explosive shot hit the tank on the side, so one of the crew took the machine gun and pointed it at a stone where the elves seemed to be hiding.

Pierrick looked at his telescopic sight where the RK1 tank was firing so he got into position and looked with his telescopic sight at a couple of elves.

Which were covered behind the stone waiting for the moment to attack, when the machine gun will stop firing.

‘I’m sorry guys but I hope you will think better of things in the afterlife.’

Pierrick took a deep breath and fired at the first elf, the bullet going through his head, so he fell to the ground. His partner just stared at him in disbelief before he too fell dead.

However, Pierrick did not stop aiming because he could see through his scope that there were more hidden elves, so he called the attention of a Sergeant with a shout.

“There are enemies in the western part of the mountain, about 400 meters from where we are. They are hiding among the stones.”

The sergeant looked where the sniper pointed and, using a spyglass, he was able to look at the hidden elves.

So he quickly began to organize all the soldiers for what the mortars will be fired towards that place.

Not only that, but they also communicated by radio to inform the members of the tanks where the enemies were so that they could fire their cannons.

The elves did not realize the danger until they could hear the characteristic noise of the mortar shells. At that moment, the elves who were hiding knew they were dead.

The explosions of the mortars along with the explosions of the explosive ammunition of the tanks.

They caused the death of hundreds of elves who were in hiding, but that was only the beginning. Because of the use of explosives, things got out of control.

This because half of the mountain wall began to slide, so the soldiers simply watched in horror as half of the mountain slid away.

After a while everything fell silent, so the half-elves approached the earth and began to use their magic to create a safe path between all the earth.

As they moved all the earth, they noticed that there were many corpses of elves which had died due to all the earth that fell on them.

So a macabre image was created on the path that the half-elves were building, this is why the corpses of the elves were visible.

But despite that, they simply continued on their way as they had to pass the rest of the mountains.

Pierrick who was walking down the macabre path just shook his head as it was a shame to kill so many enemies.

However, it was war and there could only be one winning side, so they could not lose.

After this they continued advancing, although to their fortune they did not find more elves, so they were able to reach a safe area where they rested.

Pierrick who was sitting on a rock as a night watchman looked at a black-and-white photo of his wife.

As he did so, he watched in the distance some shadows move strangely, so using his sniper rifle.

He began to observe where the shadows were advancing. When he looked closer, he realized that they were people so without thinking twice.

He took his flare gun and fired one into the sky. At that moment, everything lit up and he could see with horror thousands of elves walking.

So without thinking twice he took his hand siren and began to use the crank to create the alarm noise.

At that moment, the soldiers woke up from their sleep and started running towards the area where Pierrick was.
