Chaos in the elven world

In the elven world, a sense of danger could be felt at all levels of government.

For the priests reported on the most dangerous situation they had faced in history.

This is because the connection with the gods was lost in a surprising way and with no prior notice.

In general, the gods did not interfere too much in the life of the elves, but their influence on the elves was absolute.

Losing the guidance of the gods, an unprecedented crisis erupted in all elven kingdoms and empires across the Knutlan continent.

During the first day of the crisis, the high priests of the only elven religion tried to keep the secret of the disappearance of the gods.

For this, they relied on their position of power to jealously guard the news, but their mistake was to trust middle-level priests who reported to their respective countries.

When the rulers learned of the unprecedented crisis, they all had to meet at the sacred seat of the high priestess.

Where would they think what measures to take in the face of the sudden disappearance of the gods.

Unfortunately for them, two days after the talks began, the information about the elves ‘disappearance reached the elves’ ears from the rebellious creatures.

Who had been fighting for over 2000 years against the tyranny of the elves in small-scale battles in the most remote and dangerous places of the Knutlan continent.

Because of this, the rebels printed flyers on sheets of paper using old antique printing presses that they had stolen from the noble houses.

These flyers were scattered throughout the elven kingdoms and empires by all the spies that were within the cities, so within hours of having accomplished such a feat.

The elven population fell into chaos because without their gods they felt vulnerable, like any person in an emergency many reacted incorrectly.

Starting large-scale robberies in shops and houses, while other elves burned the government buildings.

While others stayed in their houses while doing ceremonies to corroborate if the gods had left.

Because of the great chaos in all the cities, the rebels took the opportunity to start freeing slaves on a large scale from the noble houses and villas outside the cities.

Because all the security forces and soldiers were busy trying to maintain order in the big cities.

The rulers and the supreme priestess decided to make calls to remain calm because, although the gods had disappeared.

They were still the dominant force in the world and the rebels could not pose a real danger to the elven supremacy.

But these calls to keep the peace were completely ignored, so the kings and emperors used force to subdue their population.

To do this, they began giving orders to an elite force of women named Valkyries, which, using pegasus, visited the places where the riots were worst.

Using their magical techniques, they began with a m******e of any class of civilians, using their powerful elemental magics they destroyed entire neighborhoods.

The protesters and disgruntled elves who had lost the majority of their comrades began to run, trying to escape the repression of the rulers.

But all their attempts were in vain as the guards and soldiers pursued them in order to end the root problem.

The violent repressions and murders were justified by the representatives of the elf religion, as they were a danger to all the elves of the continent.

In just three days, over 1,000,000 elves were slaughtered in cold blood and hundreds of thousands more captured, never to be seen again.

With the end of the protests and anarchy in the big cities, the kings and emperors undertook a curfew to prevent the populations from leaving after a certain hour.

While this was happening, the rebels had destroyed thousands of villages and freed hundreds of thousands of slaves who helped the rebels’ guerrilla warfare.

They only stopped when valkyries appeared in some elven villages which were a bad sign as it meant that the armies were on their way to stop the liberation of slaves.

So the rebels with experts in being able to hide began their way towards the primordial forests and the impassable mountains.

Where they had their cities and towns free from the elven yoke.

The armies of the different countries tried to make small punitive expeditions against the rebels.

But all was in vain because the rebels ended the small expeditions, so they could not punish them.

They used elemental mages’ experts in handling the land to create an impressive line of defense to prevent the rebels from breaking out of their burrows.

This defense line had the support of the supreme priestess, who assisted with the defense line vigilance by commanding their sacred warriors.

An elite group of elves skilled in warfare, who grew up in orphanages to be soldiers as children.

As part of the violent traditions, children were forced to perform dangerous actions to gain recognition.

Unfortunately, in these missions, the majority died, leaving only the strongest, who received as a reward to go to another war or conflict.

All their lives were in war, so the holy warriors were an elite group that only obeyed rules and had no criteria of their own.

Simple humanoid machines whose sole purpose was to kill to obey their orders.

The elven soldiers who were guarding the defense line that were being built felt fear.

When they saw the sacred warriors, they grew up hearing about the exploits and questionable actions of those groups of elves.

The sacred warriors were the defense line with the sole objective of eliminating any kind of living being that will try to approach the defense line.

That included birds and wild animals, so within hours of arriving, many animal carcasses piled up on the defensive line.

But no elf dared to say something to the holy warriors because they considered that they still had a long time to live since, if they made them angry with their comments, they could possibly end up killing them.

Unfortunately, it was one of the fundamental problems of the sacred warriors, for them there were no enemies or allies, only objectives.
