Leuco a lonely man

1091 Words
In a fairly tidy apartment there was a man exercising who was shirtless, his body full of muscles as well as scars.   The man was Caucasian with green eyes and black hair; he was also wearing blue military pants from the Republic of Gallus.   “48, 49, 50 ...”   After saying that, the man released the metal bar he was exercising with and took his aluminum canteen from the table.   As he drank the cold water, he glanced at a black-and-white photo of a woman and a child, both of whom were smiling.   When the man stopped drinking water, he used his hand to clean his mouth and sighed because he could feel pain in his chest; it was not physical because he was in good condition.   It was a pain that he knew very well because it was the pain of the loss of his family in a train accident.   Where the train lost control of a bridge because of a construction failure, the result was that over 300 people died, including his wife and son.   Taking his white towel off a shelf, he bathed because, in the morning, he had received a call from his captain.   Which will visit him at noon because he would take him to the train station so that he could travel to the northern border where he was.   The military barracks where he would give classes to the new soldiers to prepare the members of the new human liberation army.   An army created by the three nations to face the evil elves in the future.   As the water ran down his face, the man only looked at the ceiling of the shower, because he did not know what kind of monsters the elves were.   But he was not afraid because the only thing he was sure of was that he was a demon who was not afraid of death, since his sniper rifle would be at his side.   Because for years he had developed a deadly gaze, because where he put his sight, a bullet would end a life.   It was not something he was proud of, but as a Republic soldier, he had to protect his nation from any kind of danger that might arise.   Although he has the first place in deaths of all the snipers of the Republic and his enemies have named him in different ways.   He prefers to spend his free time making small wooden figures with his knife than pulling the trigger of his weapon, since the noise of his weapon can only be used to kill.   When he came out of bathing, he dressed in his military dress uniform, which had a blue color. When he saw himself dressed in the mirror with his uniform, his hands trembled a little.   Well, he had to put his medals in his uniform, which just made him feel like a bloodthirsty beast.   Opening a wooden box, he looked at his 5 gold medals with beautiful ornaments. Although they looked very good, each one of them brought back painful memories of his past.   Because he had earned them by killing hundreds of enemies in different conditions that made him feel quite disappointed in himself.   When he finished placing his medals on his uniform, he took from the dressing table his Kepis, a military cap that he could wear because of his military rank of lieutenant.   After being completely ready, he waits at the door of his house while smoking a cigarette.   When he was about to smoke his third cigarette, the doorbell of his house could be heard, so he opened the door and looked at his captain and two other soldiers.   The captain, seeing his best subordinate, greeted him with a handshake.   “I’m glad to see that you are in good condition Leuco, join me while I explain your new tasks.   Do not worry about your things. These two soldiers will take them to a train that will leave earlier so that they are ready when you arrive at the military base. “   Leuco nodded and accompanied his captain to a beautiful black car that was parked in the street. When they arrived arrived, a soldier opened the door and the two men got into the vehicle.   “Leuco, I know you are a lone wolf, but during this time of peace, you will work as a trainer for the new recruits.   Because sniper duties are important and must always be alone, you will also teach survival classes.   Because we know nothing about the elven world, you will make trips to the desert, jungle, forest, mountain and whatever weather there may be.   In those places you will have the help of an expert to move on the ground, you have to ensure that your recruits learn everything they need to survive.   For the central command, possibly place the snipers behind enemy lines to do as much damage as possible to the enemy.   They will be dangerous missions but they will not be alone as there will also spread behind enemy lines. They will have a more dangerous job. “   The captain took a wooden box that was still next to his seat, which he handed to Leuco.   “Because we are not enemies, the technology between our republic and the two empires was shared.   In that wooden box are the latest telescopic sight of the Diutisc empire, as well as the most advanced silencer of the empire of Bretaigne.   From now on they will be complements for all sniper weapons as well as the new camouflage clothing. “   When Leuco opened the wooden box, he saw a piece of black metal that he assumed was the silencer. He also saw a piece of smooth black metal that he could assume was the sight of the more modern sniper rifle.   Although what really made him smile was seeing a beautiful uniform with camouflage patterns.   “These objects will save many lives when we are behind enemy lines.   I just hope that magic is not something like in the stories of fantasy writers because then maybe our weapons are useless.“   The captain smiled “President Meldos, who could see how the elves lived and acted, has not reported that their magic is that powerful.   Also, the goddess never mentioned any kind of threat higher than our weapons.   I’m sure her magic could be dangerous, but I don’t think the goddess has put us in a world where we can’t survive. “
