Raven
Time flies and it'll just be 5 days from now before the wedding.
"Let me see you, Rave!" My mom excitedly said.
I'm currently fitting my wedding dress. I chose a ballgown type because I want to feel like a princess.
Everything about this wedding was planned carefully and thoughtfully by me and Rao. It was everything that I wanted but just one thing. The wedding of my dreams is happening, yet I'm getting married to a man who doesn't even love me and I don't even like it.
"Oh, my love... you look so pretty!!" My mom tear up and I chuckled at that. She softly touched my hair. "Are you happy, Raven?"
Looking back the past few weeks, we've known each other for at least 2 months now. He never treated me badly even though I'm just his fake girlfriend. We're like best friends actually. We flirt each other though but our moments were genuine between us. At least for me.
"I am..." I stated softly and my mom nodded.
"Raoul is a good man. I know he'll take good care of you especially your heart."
I know... It hurts that he's not mine for the taking.
I shook my head as if it'll trash away that thought.
Raoul: No sneak peek?
I chuckled at that message.
Raven: Just 5 more days, Rao. You wait!
Raoul: :(
So dramatic!
Raoul: I'm currently writing my vow. Just sharing.
Oh.. I haven't. What do I even write?
Raven: Sneak peek?
Raoul: Just five more days, my darling. You wait.
I rolled my eyes when he used my words to me.
Raven: No kiss goodnight tonight!
Raoul: You dare to threaten me, woman?
I chuckled at that. Our flirtatious actions have become a little bit... normal and too all the time to us. Making out sessions like, of course, I mean we're adults we can take it without feelings.
Raven: :P
I laughed at that.
"I'm so happy to see you like this, Raven." My mom interrupted and my attention went to her. "You genuinely look so happy. I'm proud. My heart is happy, my baby." My mom is tearing up again and I comforted her and thanked her for everything.
After a quick lunch out with my mother, I'm now inside my office and the last report of my secretary is that Raoul went back to his firm for a bit while I was away from the company.
Raoul: Where are you?
Raven: Will not go home tonight!
Raoul: ?
Raoul: Are you inside your office?
Raven: You guess?
And in matter of seconds my door opened and there he is. Raoul in his corporate attire. I smirked.
"You kept on teasing me today... hm?" He stated slowly while walking towards me.
I leaned on my chair and just stared at his eyes until I didn't notice he's just inches away from me. He put both of his hands on both other sides of my armrest, locking me in. I looked up to him.
Before I could speak he hungrily attacked my lips and he earned a moan from me which made him groan.
"We kept on forgetting Article 1." I said in between kisses and I felt him smile.
"I can simply overrule that. It was stated that it shall only be for public appearances." He answered.
"Yeah," I bit my lower lip.
"I followed the rules 'til the end. Who gave their consent just because the other missed the feeling?" He raised a brow playfully.
"Excuse you? You asked for practice!"
"It was one time... then you followed after." He smirked like he won.
I rolled my eyes. "Don't matter. It's not like we're not adults so why not use each other?" I smiled playfully.
"Use each other, huh? You used the word "use" on me?" He pointed himself.
"It's like one night stands, Rao. You sleep and make out then the next morning, it'll be like... nothing happened. What happens for tonight will stay tonight that kind of vibe." I explained.
He looked at me intently. "Uh-huh.. Have you ever had a one-night stand?" he asked.
I looked at him back and equaled the same intensity stare he's giving to me. "Did not." I answered softly. "Have you forgotten that I was set on a blind date by my parents because I won't go out?"
He smirked a bit. "Touche."
I smiled at him.
"We need to go, darling. We have our one last meeting with our wedding organizer to finalize." He held out his hand and I reached for it. He held my hand as we walked out of my office.
We met our wedding organizer at some restaurant near my company.
"So... This is the final look of everything. The flowers, the church, and the reception." He showed us pictures and I smiled when I saw that it's full of black, red, and a touch of silver. "Please do let me know if you want some revisions because today's your last chance at every little detail." He smiled.
"Are you satisfied with your bouquet?" Rao asked me and I turned to look at him then saw that he's holding the picture of my bouquet.
"Yeah, I'm fine with it. I love roses." I smiled a bit. "Are you okay with this?" I showed him the picture of the possible design of our church and reception venue.
"Yeah, I'm good." He looked at me seriously. "May I ask the itinerary for our wedding?" He asked our planner.
"Oh, it'll be a surprise for you both! But I do hope you practiced your dance. The wedding and reception will go on smoothly, I promise you that. You will not need to worry about anyone and anything. This will be your day. All this day will be all about just the two of you, so on this day just focus on each other." He smiled that is so genuine, and it hurts my heart because he thinks that he's planning this wedding because of true love... little did he know, it's just an agreement.
Raoul cleared his throat. "What's the song again for our dance?" Rao asked our planner.
"Can't help falling in love."
Well I'll be damned.
