I was about drifting off to my world but I was brought back to reality by a lovely voice which I knew was coming from the Choir’s stand. I tried all I could to see the owner of such lovely voice but I couldn’t due to the number of upstanding crowd in front of me. The Clergy made an altar call for those with repentant heart. I stepped out, not that I wanted repentance but because I wanted to see the owner of the beautiful voice. My spirits were lifted the more she sang and then I set my eyes on her. She was like an Angel with a black flowing hair which I could see from the transparent hat she wore. I don’t think I would be able to describe her beauty with words. All I can say is that she looked exactly like an Angel. After leading us to Christ afresh, the Clergy commissioned us to join a department in the church. He said if we wished to, we should see him after the service. As I walked back to my seat, I felt like being in the Choir was my calling but the singing voice was absent. Emily once told me that my singing voice was like that of a cat clawing on a glass window. I didn’t take it likely with her. There were certain ways that I could train my voice so that wouldn’t be a problem. I made up my mind, I would join the choir.
