CHAPTER TWO What the Duke had expected, now happened. When he arrived back at Rock House in time for luncheon, his relatives were already streaming in through the front door. The first were some of the younger ones, who were just curious about him and quite pleasant. Then the more elderly arrived for tea, there were three aunts and cousins who eyed him speculatively.
