The Game he played

After 2 weeks, Ned told May to demand the sum of $2000 for her house rent that her salary will be late for the month. So she did likewise and to her surprise Leo sent her $2500 both for upkeep. Ned told May to make Leo trust her so she can make ask for anything anytime. May did her best to make Leo happy in their conversation, even when Ned asks for a s*x chat.

They were in a good relationship for 3 months. So one day Leo told May that he will be coming to the state for them to see but Ned told May to decline instead she would like to come to Nigeria and Leo told it as an advantage not knowing he was falling into a trap.

May told him she doesn’t have complete money for her flight so Leo sent her $12000 for her visa and plane ticket which is #5.4 million in Nigeria currency. During that period the company was facing financial issues and there 5.4 million got missing. The company began to wreck down, business began to drop and some workers were released from their work like getting sacked.

Simo and Katherine were flown out of the country to meet Ned at his residence in Canada.

It has been 8 years Ned left Nigeria so he decided to come back and face Leo and payback for what he did to him. When he came into the country with Simo and Katherine they lodge in a hotel in Abuja that night before entering Lagos. They heard the news that The Philips Construction Company was shut down because they went bankrupt. Simo got the information that Leo and Mr. Philip and the board were having a meeting at the company in their conference room.

So he hired some military men and they went to the company resident, surrounds the place with some military guys and 4 men went up with him. On their way up they took down some Leo’s guys before getting to the conference room. Ned went in with two soldiers while two were at the doorpost.

When he came in with black glasses on, no one recognized him until he pulled it out still no one recognized him only Mike his friend did. So he called out;

Mike: Ned…. Is this you?

Everyone was in shock especially Leo, they almost ran out but as they saw Ned walking in, but he said;

Ned: Fear not for am flesh and blood.

They all sat down still in surprise especially Leo and his men. Those present in the meeting were Mr. Philip, Leo, Mike, g*n, Eric, Engr. Frank, Engr. Stephen and Mr. Peter and Mr. Davies.

Philip: Ned you alive… where have you been all this while? I taught you were dead? Common what’s going on here?

Ned: I think this video can explain all your questions

Ned went to the laptop for projecting transfer of the video and it came up to the large screen in front of them. It was a nightmare for Leo; he couldn’t believe what he saw.

Mr. Philip was furious and almost got a heart attack but was rush to the hospital immediately and Leo was arrested by the police with the other six guys that were with him.

2 weeks later they all faced trials and were found guilty and were sentenced to 45 years imprisonment with hard and intense labor and security. Mr. Philip was discharged and was placed on medication

Ned builds his own companies like; Ned printing press, Ned cement, and a networking company.

A few months later Ned got married to Katherine and Simo got married to his girlfriend having his own mansion and business.

Three years later

One sunny Saturday afternoon Ned went out with his wife and his daughter fortunate for him he came across his aunty Peace, she was selling fruits at the entrance to the mall. He stopped and came down from his car, went to her, and ordered an orange of #500 as she raised her face to see the customer she burst out in tears but Ned went on to console her with a hog. She tried to need knee down to ask for forgiveness but Ned prevented that. So he called out his wife, so she came out from the car with the daughter who is 3 years old. When she came close Ned introduced her to the Aunty;

Ned: Bea this Aunty peace I told you about… Aunty peace this my wife and my daughter Jesse

Aunty Peace: You married!!! Wow that nice 

Ned: Look aunty I have forgiven you already since… I bear no pain against you… we were about going to have lunch, please join us.

And they went in and had lunch together and told each other stories about life.
