44 LINCOLN I wait backstage at the Eminence. Was it only four years ago that I sat at this same spot with Raedwulf? It feels like a lifetime away. TH stands nearby. He holds a small sphere of red light between his palms as he casts different outfits for himself. After the angry crowd in Purgatory, TH has learned his lesson. He plans to wear the right outfit on stage tonight. “Don’t even think of using a video camera on me,” says TH. “I’ve cast a blocker spell.” I stifle a smile.
