"I regret coming here!" I snapped and shoved Dylan away. "You think you can just do whatever you want after I told you not to!" Dylan sighed and ran his fingers through his hair but there was still a smile playing on his lips. "I thought you finished with them, love," he said, his breath smelling like my chocolate chip pancakes. "How about you sit down and rest while I make the pancakes, yeah?" "I don't need to rest," I muttered. Dylan chuckled, "The way you can barely stand without almost falling says otherwise. Let me make breakfast." I sighed and muttered swears under my breath as I limped to the counter, sitting on it. Note to self: never challenge Dylan while having s*x. To ANYTHING! The details are too much for me to handle, I'll just put it that way. That is why I feel like my legs have been a curse brought upon me by the Moon Goddess. "I don't understand why I can't help," I said with a pout as I watched Dylan whisk the pancake mixture. "I don't have to move." Dylan rolled his eyes and turned around, his arms on either side of my body while his face was leaning in closer and closer. I bit my lip and wanted to look away from his stare but couldn't. "I said no, Aria," he said with finality. "Ask again and I'll spank your ass." He pecked my lips and I smiled, my arms wrapping around his neck. "I wouldn't mind that, to be honest," I said truthfully. He grinned. "But you would mind the consequences after I was finished with you. Now let me cook." Huffing, I let go of Dylan and jumped off of the counter, whisking the mixture. Dylan sighed and continued to make breakfast, knowing I wouldn't move. When we finished, Dylan picked me up and set me on the counter, handing me a plate with two chocolate chip pancakes on it. I thanked him and bit into the fluffiness, moaning as the taste hit my tongue. "Do you regret last night?" Dylan suddenly rushed out. I looked up at him with scrunched eyebrows to see a tint of pink on his ears and cheeks. He was avoiding eye contact with me because he was embarrassed by his question. I slid down from the counter after putting my plate down and wrapped my arms around Dylan's neck, smiling up at him. "Last night was the best night of my life, Dylan," I answered truthfully and Dylan's pink face lifted up to see mine. "I wouldn't regret it for the world." It is out! I have been lying to myself since I found out that Dylan was my mate about my feelings! I have feelings for the alpha of the Lunar Shadow pack! Well... you did just have s*x with him last night, so you can't say you figured this out just today, I thought to myself. Plus, you're mates. That felt good to get off my chest. Dylan smiled and covered my lips with his. I kissed him back and pulled him closer to me. He pushed me against the end of the counter, his hands sliding down to my ass and giving it a firm squeeze. I moaned and Dylan took the opportunity to shove his tongue into my mouth, exploring it with need. "Please don't have s*x on the counter," Owen's voice pleaded, "I got it waxed just two days ago." Dylan smiled and pulled away from me, handing me my plate while helping me onto the counter. "You can wax a counter?" I whispered to him, making him chuckle. "I don't even know," he said before turning to Owen. "Good morning to you, too." "You two have fun last night?" Owen asked and I instantly felt my face burn up. "It sounds like you two had quite the massage session." "If you mean massaging our insides, then yes," Dylan responded and I turned away from everyone, embarrassment coursing through me. My phone suddenly rang and I picked it up from the table, answering it with a, "Hello?" "Is this Aria?" A man with an accent I remembered clearly asked. "Yeah," I answered with a smile. "Hey, Ron. Mind telling me how you got my number?" I glanced at Dylan to see him glaring at me while mouthing, 'Who is that?' I ignored him. "I thought yer would be too drunk ter remember," Ron mused and I chuckled. "You stole my phone and forced my thumb onto it before adding yourself as 'Arisa'. How have ya been?" "I've been great," I answered enthusiastically, thinking of Dylan right away. "Just been busy with things." I heard Ron hum. "And yer mate; Alpha Dylan?" I bit my lip. "I knew you'd find out why he was so pissed that night." Ron hummed again. "Ever'one could tell, Aria. I could practically feel his eyes yell 'I wanna f**k yer everywhere in this club.' You can't deny that the chemistry yer wolves have is somethin' that isn't usually something yer'd see with mates." I bit the inside of my cheek. "I don't know if you're right or wrong at this point, Ron. I know what we have is strong because I used to hate needing a mate and now I need him near me but what if something actually is different about us." I heard Ron sigh, "Did he mark you?" "No." He sighed again and I heard him scratch his scalp as he thought. "I don't know. I'll call yer about this later. I'll look up about it if ya don't mind." "Sure. Thanks, Ron. I'll call you in a bit." I hung up and sighed, walking out of the room. When I opened the door, Owen and Dylan were talking about two very different things in front of it. They turned to me and Dylan cleared his throat. "Tell the alpha that I will be there in ten minutes." Owen looked at him with confusion and Dylan narrowed his golden eyes at him. "Oh! Yes, sir!" "Sir?" I snorted and Owen shrugged, walking away. I turned to Dylan. "If you want to know what we were talking about you could have just asked," I said and he smiled, pecking my lips. "I know." "No, you didn't. Don't lie." He shrugged, making me chuckle and turned back into my room, quickly changing into a sweater and pair of jeans. I came out of the room and walked down the stairs, putting my hair up. Dylan came towards me and I smiled. "I'm going to go to meet Brianna," I told him and kissed his cheek. "I'll be back in a bit." Dylan nodded his head and I left. ----- "How was it?" Brianna asked with a smirk. "Was he rough? Did you use any toys? Did he make you orgasm--" "Shut up, Brianna!" I hissed and she chuckled. "Answer me then," she whined. I sighed. "It was amazing, he wasn't rough at first but then was afterwards, no, we didn't use... toys, and yes, he did make me... ya know." Brianna squealed and I couldn't help but grin cheekily, warmth growing in my cheeks. "That's awesome!" Brianna squealed. "My flower was deflowered!" I cringed and took a sip of my coffee. "That just sounds weird." Brianna snorted and nodded her head in agreement. Two guys came by and threw pieces of paper on our table, walking away after glancing at us. "The f**k?" I said and took one while Brianna took the other. "'Call me. 289-969-3624.'" "You're f*****g joking, right?" I muttered and crunched it up, throwing it at one of their heads. They turned around and grinned when they saw me, walking toward Brianna and me. "Hey," one of them said. "What makes you think dropping these with your numbers on it would make us actually call you?" I asked. They looked at each other. "I mean, you two are cute and everything and we just want to hang out," one of them said with a smirk. I stood up and began walking towards them when an arm came around my waist. "My mate senses were tingling," Dylan said and glared hard at the other two. "Alpha Dylan," they said, bowing their heads. "We didn't know that they were close to you -- this one being your mate, as well." "And what makes you think that even if they weren't that they wouldn't have mates of their own?" Dylan asked, putting his alpha mask on. "I don't think that the future Luna of your pack would approve of you even trying to do something so childish." Dylan looked down at me and I nodded my head. "Don't try something so childish again," I said with a shrug. "It doesn't get you anywhere." The two nodded and scurried off. I turned back to Brianna to see her watching with wide eyes. "What?" I asked. "Where did he even come from?" Brianna asked as Dylan sat down next to me. "And why can't my mate have mate senses?" Dylan chuckled. "Because he's on a meeting with the alpha and beta of the Moon Shimmer pack." "Why aren't you there?" I asked. "Because I trust Owen. Besides, I had errands in the pack." Brianna frowned and slapped him lightly. Dylan smiled and was handed a drink. He gave the waitress a five dollar bill and she thanked him, walking off. My phone buzzed and I looked down at it. R: I did some research. I need to call you about this. I frowned and Dylan looked over my shoulder. A: I'll call you in ten minutes. I'm just finishing something up. I shut my phone off and saw Brianna and Dylan peeking at the text message through the blackness of the screen. "Real mature," I mumbled and stood up. "I have to talk to someone important. I'll call you to come over right after, Brianna." She nodded and gave me a quick hug before turning to face Dylan. "This doofus should probably come with you," she said, referring to Dylan. The two have been like this for a long time. Even though some people found it disrespectful, Dylan allowed Brianna to call him whatever she wanted because of two reasons: one, she was my best friend, and two, they had been friends even before Brianna found out about Owen being her mate. I guess Brianna being the head of the pack doctors has its advantages. "Okay," I said and waved as Dylan pulled me out of the shop. "Who are you talking to and what are you talking about?" He asked. I shrugged. "Both my friend, Ron, and I think that something's off about our mate bond," I answered. "And it must be serious if he has to call me about it."
