Dr. Chase, what are you doing..." Chase moved forward but in slow steps so as to not startle her. Rebecca did not buy his moves though. "You're part of this? You killed my father?!" She raged out. "I don't understand--" She could feel her blood risingโ€“and not to mention the one that was now gushing from her side. "--Miss Summer, I can explain. But first, you are losing too much blood. We need to get that--" Rebecca's eyes began to scan the room for...anything at all! All she found was the colored pillows on the sofas, a small side stool with the huge TV remote on it... "Miss Summers, I'm going to need you to calm down, please," Chase was still saying as he stretched his hand forward in an attempt to calm her down. And... There was a pen in his hand as he came a little closer again, it had sharp tip with its face pointing towards Rebecca. In a swift move, Rebecca snatched the pen and pointed it back like it was a knife. "Stay back!" She made her voice sound more...real. More scary. Whether it worked or not, she couldn't tell. "Or else," Chase said in a relaxed tone. "Please Miss Summer, you're outnumbered and I don't think there's much a quill pen can do against us." Rebecca nodded, seeing sense in his statement. But she was not ready to give up. "Or else, I'll use this on me. I'll pierce it right through my neck and--" "--you wouldn't." Said a voice, the same thundering voice. The voice of the mad man that had killed her father. He sounded sarcastic, "please, I've always wondered if a pen can count as a murder weapon. When you're stabbing yourself, you might want to raise your hand a little higher," he said, tilting his head slightly as he gestured towards the vein in his neck. "And stab yourself right in this point. It'll cause instant death, less painful." "Please, Diego. She's frightened." Chase said in a tight voice. Rebecca felt stupid with him mocking her like that. Especially because she wasn't ready to just kill herself for this lunatic! "I'm serious. Clearly, you want me alive for some reason. I'm just going to end it all, right here right now!" She hoped she sounded intentional. Diego was not even looking at her now. He started with a lazy sigh, "I knew it was a foolish idea bringing her here. You should have just burned in the estate with Raymond." Anger filled all the veins in her and the next thing she knew, she was unleashing it in a loud grunt. The pen she threw hit Diego right in the face, drawing blood from his lips. The air around her came to a quiet stop and Rebecca feared she would die from these terrible men glancing at her with horror. Diego was quiet too, yet she wished he wouldn't be. Something told her his silence meant something horrifying was about to happen. If this was the end, Rebecca did not mind dying a hero. Or a fool, it seemed. She stepped forward again, "don't you dare call his name out like that. You monster! You killed my father. You killed him!" She dug out claw nails like a beast and threw herself forward to him, hitting him while trying to rip out his eyeball too. Then something stung her and before she knew it, she collapsed, her eyes shutting close. When her eyes opened again, she was back in that room, now chained to the bed. It took all her struggle, but it came to no use. No matter how she struggled, she was still chained like an animal. "Here's what is going to happen now," that cold voice said, sending fear down her spine. She hadn't realized she wasn't alone in the room. "You will keep your mouth shut while I--" he was still saying but Rebecca spat out, "go to hell you monster!" Diego heaved in, then got up. It happened like one of the documentaries Rebecca used to watch as Diego made an approach like he was ready to pounce on her like a lion would to a poor helpless deer. As she shut her eyes tight waiting for the worse, something pressed against her lips, shutting them firm. "That's much better," Diego said proudly before he went to sit down again. "Now, as I was saying," he ignored all her grunts and wail as she tried to force words out from her taped mouth. "You will remain here until I say it's time to leave. After everything Raymond has done to me, consider this a generous offer. You could have died, yet I chose to save you." He smiled, if you could call that smug on his face a smile, "you don't remember what happened four days ago, do you?" He watched as her eyes widened, then continued. "You should have burned when the explosion took the whole place down. Yet I chose to save you," he repeated as if waiting for some kind of applaud. By putting a bullet to my stomach and killing my father!? She thought to herself, unable to control the angry swelling up inside of her. "If he were alive by now, he would be thanking me. I am a very simple man, you obey me, you'll do just fine. Defy me, and let's just say you'll end up like Raymond did." It took everything in her not to bark out, he had chained and captured her like an animal, had he not? "I can see this anger burning in your eyes, but soon you'll come to love me. Because then you'll realize that I'm not the enemy here. Let me refresh your memory a little. Ever heard of the Gonzalez' before?" Just at the mention of that name, goosebumps prickled her skin, sending shivers down her spines. The Gonzalez' were a ruthless mafia clan, one her father always warned her about. No one in their right senses messed with them, ever! And yet, this man spoke about her father like he had poked his nose in their business. "Your father has done some bad things, and nemesis caught up to him. Even after his death, he was not able to repay me of the damage he has caused me. But now that you're here, maybe years of being my slave might just do. You are mine now, Rebecca Summers."
