$12 A Deathly Allergy

"Say my name. Say it once, say it twice." _ Rebecca almost slapped herself right there. How could she think about s*x? s*x with a man like... him??? She could feel her cheeks heating up from the irresponsible thoughts that swarmed her head. How come she let herself waver so much? "What are you thinking about?" Diego's voice, deep and throaty, cut through her thoughts. She gasped as if caught red handed. "N--nothing!" She responded sharply. Diego spoke firmly "It's false hope for you if you think you can escape from me by staying behind. I'd find you in the middle of the ocean if I wanted to, Cattivella." She could tell it wasn't a bluff. She hadn't been thinking about escaping before, she genuinely wanted to explore the place but now that he mentioned it... although she knew she would never escape him so easily. She didn't know what to say, so she decided to divert. "Don't call me that again, my name is–" "Rebecca." He cut her off softly. When he said her name, she almost purred. It was almost like she had never heard someone call her name so softly before. She felt all her senses melt away and at that moment, she wished he would just do something immoral to her right there. Her body was going insane with the desire that filled her soul. She was drowning and only he could give her the salvation her soul craved. She almost pleaded for him to say her name one more time. He leaned in closer to her face and whispered into her ear. "Rebecca," he said, almost as if he heard her wish. A foreign sound left her throat and she froze, feeling embarrassment wash away every s****l desire burning inside her. She moaned. She didn't believe it herself and she would have sworn she had imagined it if only it had not come from her. She felt like she was having an orgasm just from hearing him call out her name like that. And she let her stupidity control her. A moan! How could she do something like that?! Diego was surprised, she could tell from the way his brow arched. He smiled, not holding back his amusement. Moving away from her, he said. "Car. Now. I need my morning coffee." Without waiting to hear another word, he turned around and left. She remained glued to the wall, Diego might have left but embarrassment was still there, keeping her from moving. - When they got home, she raced for her room immediately. She had not dared to glance at him all through the ride home. In her bedroom, she threw herself against the bed and screamed into her pillow while flapping her legs. A sudden ache in her side caused a groan to leave her mouth and she sat up gently. "Ah f**k!" The door to her room opened just then and Chase walked in. Closing the door behind him, he said softly. "I was starting to wonder where you two went off to. Did you go shopping?" Her eyes gleamed with surprise. "How did you know that?" "There are some bags outside your door. Why didn't you take them in? You don't like them?" He asked as he sat down on a chair opposite her. "I'll bring them in later." She responded. "I'll help you do that on my way out. How's your wound?" His blue green eyes sparked with concern. She spoke softly, putting her words together thoughtfully. "Well, it's getting better but it still hurts. Just now, it suddenly ached and I don't know why." "Let me see." She unbuttoned the top of her dress and pulled it down to her waist. He moved closer and checked the wound. "Hmm..." he said thoughtfully. "It reopened. Did you do anything with force lately? Perhaps you brought all those bags here yourself?" She shook her head. "No." She remembered throwing herself against the bed and flapping her legs. Obviously, that was the cause but she was not going to say that to him. He didn't question her further. He attended to the wound instead. His soft voice caught her by surprise as he said, "I made something delicious for you, I promise it's not drugged this time. You should join me in my room for a good breakfast after serving Diego his coffee." "Oh... uhm..." "I mean no harm. I promise." He assured her as he looked into her eyes. She felt her heart skip a beat as his magical eyes fixed on her. She couldn't bring herself to make words, so she smiled and nodded. After a silent moment, she suggested. "I could make you some coffee... if– if you'd like." He smiled softly. "I like mine with milk." She smiled. "Got it." After he tended to her wound, he helped her with the bags like he promised and gave her directions to his room. She suddenly felt conscious of her looks. "Maybe I can just use a little bit." She said as she dug out the make up box in the new things she got. Thankfully, the designer remembered the request. She applied a little red lipstick before she went to prepare the coffee. One with milk and one without milk. Diego was in his study, as expected. She dropped it for him and took the other to Chase's room. Chase was by his table in his room. When she knocked, he opened the door from her and took the cup of coffee from her. "Thank you." He said with a smile. "It isn't much, I cooked everything myself. Just some good food to help you heal faster." She felt like she was on a date. She couldn't stop smiling. "Oh my goodness! This is a feast! I'm sorry you had to go through all that stress." Chase shook his head and smiled before taking a sip from his coffee. He didn't look all too pleased after tasting it. "It's black." He said. She was surprised to hear that. "What? But I added milk." "Are you sure?" He asked. She took the cup from him and tasted it. "Oh..." she said. "It really is black. I guess I must have mixed the cups up by mistake. I'll add milk and be right back." "Wait." Chase said sharply as he caught her arm. "You mean... Diego has the one with milk?" She was confused by the seriousness on his face. "Yes... why?" His eyes widened. "He has a deathly allergy to milk!" She was shocked. The cup in her hand fell and shattered.
