I could not believe what I’d just seen but right now my concentration was more on if the woman laying in front of me was okay. She lay on the ground lifeless, bleeding everywhere and bones visibly broken I didn’t know what to do.

I was for some reason pained from what I was looking at. The thought of her maybe being dead had me heartbroken,she had to survive.

I quickly felt for a pulse and she indeed was alive. But barely hanging on, she needed to be taken to a hospital fast.

I slowly slanted down but didn’t want to touch her, I couldn’t risk holding the wrong place and killing her. I ordered my driver to call for an ambulance and even if it felt like they took forever it did arrive and I made sure to ride in the ambulance with her until she got to the hospital.

When we got to the hospital and the doctors checked her and no one could believe she’d fallen off such a height because she was completely fine from what the doctors said. Even I was shocked because she looked way better now than she did when she was laying on the ground.

Only thing they could find wrong was the placement of the bones on her back that they said was probably a result of the fall and they needed to do more tests and scans

I stayed at the hospital for over 5 hours until my dad called me to the house.

I really didn’t wanna leave but I had to leave.

Before I left I had the doctors promise to let me know immediately she regained consciousness because didn’t want her waking up alone since we couldn’t get a hold of the only person listed as her emergency contact at the hospital.

Just when I was getting to the house I got a call from the hospital that Bella was awake, I found out that was her name through her medical records since she goes to Hillside memorial often for checkups.

I did not hesitate to turn right back and headed back for the hospital. Dad would just have to wait. but when I got to the hospital I heard a commotion and loud screams that broke my heart. I knew they were hers.

I got to her room and saw her.

A heartbreaking sight. She was screaming in pain my heart broke. she looked at me pleadingly like asking me to save her but I didn’t know what to do I just wanted her to not be in pain anymore, I walked to her slowly and just held her hand because something in me told me to do so and just when I did she screamed more louder, her skin was hot to the touch, and sweating,her fingernails dug into my skin painfully drawing blood but I didn’t let go until she slowly calmed down and the nurse was able to sedate her.

She lost consciousness but still held on to me and I didn’t want to let go.

I couldn’t believe my eyes when I looked back up. It’s was Leandros! the same stupid two winged i***t with a halo who stripped me of my wings and left me stuck here. What was he doing here pushing innocent women off balconies?

I looked back down at the body that had just landed on the ground not knowing what to do. What had just happened how did I not sense death when I was around her? What am I supposed to do now?

I look around for anything that could make sense of this situation when my eyes land on a man on the other side of the road, his gaze was directly at me as if he could actually see me, but how? He’s a mere mortal how could he see me.

He was rushing getting closer to me and the girls body. I had to go, if he could see me he’s either friend or foe and if he were friend I could have sensed him and looking at him if he were foe at his age I could have sensed him too what I was sure of was I wasn’t just gonna stand and wait to find out.

I had to get out of there and so I did,

I phased out and from above, could see him look around for me.

I watched as he looked distressed. He seemed to care for the human girl.

I watched from afar as the ambulance arrived and took the girl to the hospital I guess she was still alive.

I followed the ambulance to the hospital and saw as the girl completely recovered. Now I understood what was going on.

I watched as the guy from earlier waited for hours outside the girls room. I went into her room to confirm my suspicions and confirmed it when I touched her. All that she was missing was a halo. This woman is definitely of the seraphim. But how could I not sense her and where is her halo? Her wings or just any sign of dust? Nothing

The situation had me thinking,

When I was still in the heavenly realm I remember hearing stories of why one of us was cast out for falling for a human woman and fathering a human child which was against our rules and something that had never happened for thousands of years. Angels and humans can’t bare fruit but in his case it happened it was both a miracle and a disgrace to our bing so the Angel was stripped of his angelic rights and locked up while the mother and its child disappeared with no trace.

Could this be the child? I thought the child was human, how can she be able to heal so fas? and if she were in anyway born with Angelic blessings how come i couldn’t sense what she was earlier and she couldn’t see me?

I ponder on this for a little bit until I sense that stupid Leandros once again so I quickly phase out and decide to mask my dust which luckily since being stripped has been minimal.

I watch from a safe distance as he appears just as the woman awakens and talks a little to her with his usual stupid taunting behavior, he confirms my suspicion when he mentions Janelle I remember that name. It’s known very well in the realm, the name of the woman who made one of our greatest of worriers leave his golden halo for her. So this is their offspring then? Is it possible to gain heavenly favor through birth? We angels are formed as we are, we get breathed into a different favor than that of humans and never in history has an Angel fathered a child and even more strange one that had the favor of us and our abilities.

While I’m thinking about this I get pulled out of my thoughts by loud screams, I look back up and Leandros is gone and the woman is now on the floor screaming in agony, I can hear her bones crack.

Definitely making way for her wings.

This woman is favored and it’s time for her to ascend. I need to speak to Kilau.

Just as I am about to leave the man from earlier walks into the woman’s room and somehow manages to calm the woman Bella down and when she digs into his flesh with her nails that now have a hint of dust I smell it.

The scent we cherubim's dread so much, it’s the scent of the enemy’s followers, the scent of a demon. How’s this possible? Another immortal creature today that was able to mask its scent? It’s very unheard of for demons to be able to mask their malice scent even for those in the pact we can easily smell it from miles away. I definitely need to speak to Kilau.
