One week.
A single week in his house.
That part feels manageable. What comes after is the real problem.
Diablo says we never have to see each other again once the week is over. A clean ending. A sensible plan. He is a dangerous man, and the smart thing would be to enjoy the time, then walk away. One week of intense s*x, then back to Colorado. Pretend none of this ever happened.
The problem is obsession.
Every minute away from him already feels unbearable. The thought of spending years trying to forget him feels worse than any danger he represents.
This is a bad idea. That much is obvious. Coming to his house is a massive step in the wrong direction. Still, what was the alternative? Let him walk away and spend the rest of life wondering what might have been?
