APRIL I watch him as he climbs through the open window. He’s soaked from the rain, water dripping from his clothes and hair. His face is flushed, his eyes wild and sharp, and for a moment he looks less like a man and more like something primal. I wonder if this is what Diablo looks like when he loses control.
