CHAPTER 6 The day of the Falling Leaves Festival finally arrived. I didn’t know what was happening, only that it was a whole day event and that it started with a parade. I was very excited. Anna swarmed my chamber way too early in the morning with two young maids. They woke me up, hurried me into the bath and allowed me a few minutes to have breakfast before propping me before the mirror to get ready. Their excitement was infectious.
