  The words rang in my head again and again, but they still made little to no sense to me. Mate? Soulmate? Meant for each other? What were they saying, those things just couldn't be real. I was willing to agree that werewolves and possibly other creatures were real. And I was willing to entertain the idea that I might even be one, but this? I drew the line at soulmates.
