I was thankful the window opened. If it didn't, I would be in a world of trouble. If I left this bathroom through the door, it would be much more difficult to get away from Niko and Miko. They would flank me and always keep an eye on me. I'd never have a chance to flee.
However, it did open, and that meant I was free to flee. I slid the windowpane to the side, leaving a space just big enough for me to squeeze through. With no luggage to take with me, it would be just like squeezing through the vent back in the lab, or through the window at the old couple's house.
