  "Can you stop the car?" I asked them. Suddenly, every nerve in my body was buzzing on high alert. I didn't like this, not one bit.   "Stop? Here? Why?" Dillon sounded confused. "Look, that's the city. We're almost there. No need to get out now. You don't want to walk, do you?"   "Actually, Dillon, I'd prefer it. Now stop the car." I practically shouted at them.   "What is going on here?" Derek asked, pulling the car to a stop on the side of the road. "What is the matter with you?" His eyes were no longer friendly and filled with concern.
