Chapter 4

Next few days flew with out knowing.. I had to give more attention to my work at the university since they wanted us to prepare our first presentation. It was about designing casual wear that was inspired by nature.Not only designing but also we have to give all the details about our inspirations and the protocols we followed.

Meanwhile, I have to prepare another few designs because before next month begins, we have to add new collections to our website. My other friends encourage me to add a few extras since our demand is high and our customer base is growing bigger day by day. Our website maintainer and orders collector, Ashley, said she's receiving more orders than earlier, so we should be prepared to deliver their requirements as soon as possible. Due to this, yesterday evening we all gathered at Ashley's place and discussed what should be our next step, and we agreed to stretch our time that we should involve for our company work and to increase the number of outfits that we are issuing from one design. Also, we thought to increase the variety by adding different colors. Ish and Em said they would meet our materials dealer and finalize it.

So you may understand how busy I was, and we barely had time to have our meals during the day.

Though I had a lot on my plate, I never forgot to see Jake's face every morning. Of course, not live, but from the photos:

Seeing his handsome face and radiant smile gave me the energy to start my day perfectly. I wish I could see him for real, but I know that since he doesn't care about any girl, it would be vain. I didn't go to hang on to my thoughts about him and daydream forever, because I have other targets that I have to fulfill.

Finally, I and Ish completed the projects and delivered them, which took a huge weight off of us. Now we only have to focus on our business.

After handing over the project, we thought to go to the cafeteria so we could have a proper meal. But it seems like fate had different plans for us. Because on our way down the long corridor, someone pulls me by the hand, which causes me to lose my balance and fall into that person's body.

It was so unexpected because Ish and I were deeply talking about something, so I quickly said sorry, thinking it was my mistake.

But his reply made me look at his face.

He said, "Don't be sorry, love.."

"Pleasure is all mine."

I quickly raced my head to see who was so crazy to comment like that.

Guess who.. not anyone else.

It was Ethan.

As soon as I saw his face, a flashback of that night at the club came to mind, which made me remember the night he threatened me, saying that he would never back off.

First, I hesitated a bit, but then I moved away from him and got close to Ish.

He looked at me and said, "Where were you these days, baby girl?" I looked for you everywhere, but whenever I was close to finding you, you were gone.

What crap is he talking about now?

"Why did you find me, Ethan?" I asked.

"Oh sweetheart.. It hurts when you ask that. Can't I find my girl? "I missed you, love."

Bullshit.. I already told you, Ethan, that I'm not your girl, and please don't try to bother me because I'm not interested in you.

"Oh.. no.. no.. baby girl... ""Don't be too harsh."

"As I said, you... are my girl." May be not yet, but you will. Definitely.. "You will not be able to resist my charm."

This dude is seriously mad. Does he think so highly of him?

It's better if he could check the brain. Whether it's functioning properly or not.

I was about to reply to his stupid hallucination.

"I don't think you can make her yours" . Ish opened her mouth at once.

"Why can't I ? "Ethan asked

" because she has a boyfriend whom she dearly love." Ish said

What..? Holly cow.. Now what's this girl blabbering about?

Oh Ish.. I know you care about me a lot, but this lie I'm pretty sure he will not buy this, because one day he told me that he's aware that I'm single.

At once, Ethan laughed, which makes me see his stupid face.

"Oh, come on, girl. Now don't tell a tissue of lies from your little mouth. because it doesn't suit you."

"I warn you... Don't get involve for this... because this is between me and her. said, pointing at me." So.. ,

He couldn't complete the sentence when someone from behind grabbed me...

When I turn,... No.. Way.. Again.. Oh my God.. Jake...

He pulled me to him gently and gave a small peck to my cheek in greeting.

" Hey! babz... What's happening here?"

He looked at me and Ethan.

Oh no. Now I'm really confused.

First, I feel like I'm in a sweet, amazing dream because my handsome crush is holding me by my waist and he just pecked me a few seconds ago... Oh.. my.. god.. I wanted to scream happily :)

Second , he is still holding me from my waist to his own body and called me Babz in his husky voice. Which I never expected will happen ever... or will happen so soon... :)

So can somebody pinch me hard? I think I'm daydreaming.

This cannot happen right now. While I was puzzled in my thoughts, I looked at Ish And she had a huge grin on her face, which makes me more confused.

When our eyes met, she signaled, saying that was OK and continued this act like..

So.. I started to focus on the situation.

Jake again asked... "Can someone say what's happening here?"

Ish soon interposed and said. "Someone is trying to force Tiya to go on a date, and I clearly said that she has a boyfriend, which he won't buy."

Jake looked at Ethan. I could say Ethan is confused too, but more than confused, he's angry and jealous.

"Are you lacking in girls in this faculty?"

"So you keep bothering my girl. when she said clearly that she doesn't have to do anything with you. "

Ethan didn't keep his mouth shut either.

"When did you become her boyfriend...?" "Because so far I knew she didn't date anyone..""also I haven't seen you around here with her.. "

"Do I have to get permission from you to date her?" Jake asked with an annoying voice.

Oh darling.. I really don't know how you are performing so well. because it didn't feel fake. I don't know if it's just my imagination since I really like you, Jake, but the emotions in your face say that you really feel angry and upset with Ethan. Also, the way you hold me shows how possessive you are about me. Whenever you speak with Ethan, your grip tightens more around my waist by holding to your body.

You don't know how much I want these feelings to be true. Jake..

"Do I have to give you my dating history with her in writing?" "What ridiculous things are you talking about?" I clearly told you in the club to stay away from her, didn't I? I think you haven't gotten the message properly...

So let me tell you clearly... Tiya is my girlfriend, and I don't like that any f*****g boy is troubling her. If anyone does that, then they have to go through me. I will not allow my girl to get hurt at all, even for a second. "Are we clear now?" Jake said in an authoritative voice. which gave me an unfamiliar feeling like butterflies in my stomach.

I could see Ethan's pissed-off look and his friends trying to take him away. Then he said, "Let's see how long she is going to stay with you." and he left with his puppet friends.
