Chapter four

*Accident - Coma*

Lyra walked out of the church building and entered her Lexus car parked outside.

She kicked off with speed, she couldn't help but cry out loud as she drove; not knowing her way forward but she hoped she would be alright.

Her life was a mess, her cries never stopped, pedestrians hailing her to stop with the speed but she was out of the world.

She needed revenge, the pain was too much to handle.

Lyra's legs suddenly slipped away from her car break and she collided with another Lexus car, leading to their car tumbling repeatedly until the last tumble which made it the seventh tumble.

Lyra's eyes were blurry, blood stains everywhere around her car. She collapsed and pedestrians offered to help the both cars, calling 911.

The person in the other car seemed to be a popular person which made enough people gather around him unlike Lyra who was carried out of the car by very few people.

She was rushed to the Columbia hospital immediately after the pedestrians put a call on her guardians.

Lyra's world was about to end; what if she doesn't wake up, how will she get justice?

Well, fate can always bring her back.

A few months passed and it's a year already, Lyra was still in her “Coma”. Just taking oxygen, by now she might be hoping not to come back again in this life.

“Good for nothing, it suits you so next time you listen to me clearly, I just hope you pass on poor brat” Naomi Louis came into Lyra's ward to mock her again.

“But mom, Lyra should wake up fast so we can make money from her paintings, I need money for my skin care” Saphira said to Naomi who was busy calculating what they would do next.

“Saphira! You need money right? Then I will book you a date with Xami Lax, the owner of the construction groups and you know what? You have to seduce him to partner with our family business and then we will boom again” Naomi said, smiling awkwardly at Saphira who seemed to like her mom's idea.

“That's great mom, I will do that faster, I love rich guys mom” in Saphira's voice.

“And when she wakes up, she will be thrown outside because we won't need her services again” Naomi smirking at Lyra.

Lyra woke up from Coma but didn't sound appropriately so she lay down; all she could do was hear people's voices and feel their presence.

That is! Lyra heard all their plans, she knew they were running low on sales since she had been in Coma but she realized her stay in the hospital lasted for a year and that it would be crazy if she found out.

Naomi Louis and Saphira walked out of the ward happily, having another plan to accomplish.

Such people should not exist in our lives on a serious note!

First of all, Leonor's Louis sent them to check on Lyra and her improvements but they didn't check on her improvements.

Thank goodness they didn't meet the doctor on Lyra's recovery, if not Naomi Louis would have poisoned Lyra because they don't want their plan to crash.

Lyra stayed still on her bed a little to make sure they had disappeared before she slowly stood up from the bed.

She looked over to the calendar and was shocked to see another year including the mysterious mark on her wrist which she couldn't get her head to think of what it is.

The mark shows the year she had an accident and the new year she woke up.

This is serious!

She suddenly started remembering what occurred the last time; how she bumped into a car and was rushed to the hospital and she collapsed.

All she planned to do now was to get revenge on the Louis from stopping them from the date with Xami Lax and ruining their families business.

She vowed on the hospital bed to make them pay for what they did to her.

Lyra dressed up in an outing wear, where was she going to at this point. She snuck out, leaving all her properties in the bed.

She was actually going to her friend's place and not only a friend but a research analyst and a cousin to Xami Lax.

She ran out of the hospital with her face covered with big, dark sunglasses and her hair loose and trimmed in a way to cover part of her face.

She stopped a moving cab

“Dans lowan office” Lyra said to the cab man. It wasn't far from the hospital so she will be fast with all her questions.

“Here sir”

“Thank you”

Lyra dropped and walked into the building, trying to remember her floor and the office number.

Yeah! That's it, she remembered.

She went up the elevator until she got to the office and knocked.

Knock! Knock!

“Come in”

The dude was drinking herself up and was surprised to see Lyra.

“Lyra dear, how have you been?”

“Hey girlie, a quick question for you, I want to get it from you immediately without wasting much time” Lyra said.

“But that doesn't stop you from having a drink with me”

“Let's do that together another day”

“Alright go on but hurry up, I have got files to work on”

And Lyra began!

“It's Xami Lax, I want him,” Lyra said.

“Suddenly you want my cousin? He's not easy to deal with girl and his family”

“So what's not easy to deal with? I can handle it” Lyra asked.

“Alright, let me start with one, two, three, the difficult behaviors of his family”

“One, his grandmother, Aurora, the fearless and disciplined woman, she always wants classy ladies for his children and high class at that. She won't accept you if you are dull and will definitely put you in jail if you have negative intention of coming around his grandson”

“Okay, continue”

“You still want me to go on, alright his mom, Regina the beast and the super queen who would not want you to take away his son's heart from her, it's a competition and a win! Win! If you can compete with her over her son's heart then you are good to go”

“Compete, I will try but that's ridiculous, continue” Lyra said giving a pitiful face.

“Hmm you sure want him. Finally, Xami Lax, a playful but annoying CEO who is able to sleep in his office from morning till night in the same attire, is so dirty. Gosh!”

“If that's all, I will try to please them, thank you so much girlie and I want to spend the night at your place so I can meet him tomorrow before my sister gets there”
