*Signing a marriage contract for revenge*
It's morning and Lyra walks into Xami Lax's personal restaurant where a date was scheduled for Saphira.
Lyra spotted Xami Lax sitting in a secluded area and walked up to him as fast as she could.
“Hey! Lyra” Xami Lax said. He was surprised to see Lyra, his runaway crush.
Lyra had a lot on her head at that time, her face was so pale and she was still recovering.
“Would you give me a seat or should I stand?” Lyra said, Xami Lax had no choice but allowed her to sit since she had been on his mind.
“Let's sign a marriage contract” Lyra said, unsure of what she was doing but she had to hurry up before Saphira cuts her off in the middle of their conversation.
“Why now, why not then?” Xami Lax asked.
“I can help you recover the profit your brother, Axel consumed if only you can agree to the contract marriage for a year”
“Why do you want a contract marriage now?” In Xami Lax's voice.
“I want revenge! They did me s**t! I want revenge!” Lyra said teary, about to cry her voice out loud.
“Good! Exactly what I want to hear from you now” Xami Lax said as he made a phone call, his personal assistant appeared in a few minutes with a paper.
Lyra was shocked and surprised at the same time, considering how Xami Lax knew about her plans and ready to stand by her side to get the revenge she wants.
Xami Lax deepened his hand into his pocket and brought out a hand towel, wiping Lyra's tears.
“Read the terms and conditions here and sign,” Xami Lax said.
“No need, I will sign no matter the conditions” Lyra said as she signed quickly without wasting a moment.
“There are many terms and conditions but I will only issue the private ones to you,” Xami Lax said.
“Here are my house keys, you have to pack in immediately so we can start with our plan, we will sleep on the same bed and we have to see our parents also for our marriage plan to begin” Xami Lax said in an employee - bosses way.
Lyra wasn't sure of what to do but agreed to his conditions, especially sleeping on the same bed.
What will they do on the bed! Everything was going on in Lyra's mind until Saphira walked in on them.
“Lyra”
Saphira called out to Lyra who ignored her including Xami Lax. Saphira was left cold, they acted like she wasn't there. Lyra felt happy, her plans had started.
“Honey, can we go back to the hotel room?” Xami Lax asked, intentionally making Saphira jealous.
“Yes honey” Lyra said, smiling.
They stood up and Xami Lax carried Lyra by hand, everyone focused on them until Lyra requested for Xami Lax to put her down.
They walked into the elevator slowly while Saphira called her sorts of names, breaking their glass of wine until the piece of the bottle cut her and she went home crying to her mom and dad who supported the date.
When Saphira got home, she ran to her mom and dad who were sitting in the sitting room, watching their favorite show.
“What? Why are you home at this time” Naomi Louis said.
“So soon” Leonor Louis said.
“It's lyra again, she's awake and she spoiled my date,” Saphira said, caressing her wounded hand.
“What! She's awake, no she can't be awake, and why did you allow her to steal your man” Naomi Louis shouted, angrily.
“Didn't you guys check her recovery status in the hospital?” Leonor Louis asked curiously.
Naomi Louis and Saphira stared at each other, thinking of what to say.
“Dad, you should think about me and forget about that adopted b***h of yours” Saphira said, covering the topic while Naomi Louis gave her a thumbs up for covering them up.
“But why didn't you meet him early before Lyra did” Naomi Louis shouted.
“I never knew, Lyra arranged this to embarrass me in front of the guest, they said I'm insane” Saphira said pitifully.
“Don't worry my princess, Lyra will pay for this, she won't see Xami Lax again if not you” Naomi Louis said.
Leonor Louis left them in the sitting room angrily, and Naomi Louis and Saphira planned on something.
“I will meet Xami Lax's mother, I will bring Xami Lax down for despising my princess and I will cut his relationship with Lyra for good!” Naomi Louis said to make Saphira feel better.
“I believe in what you can do mommy” Saphira said as she gave her mom a fake smile.

In Xami Lax's suite in the hotel, Lyra sat down drinking her alcohol continuously despite being stopped by Xami Lax several times.
Xami Lax had no choice but to join her in drinking, he knew she wasn't an alcohol addict and tried to stop her but she kept crying like a baby whenever he took the drink.
He stayed by her side until she started confessing her life story in the Louis family.
“I was only a child and Naomi Louis didn't pay attention to my emotional needs after making her love me several times” she started crying while Xami Lax joined her, patting her back and she continued.
“Why am I not loved, I was in a coma for a year and no one reached out except once; Saphira has always been the spoilt brat who treats me like a slave”
“Saphira slept with my ex fiance under my watch and still asked me for water when they were done; I wasn't able to do what I want, no freedom!”
“I was scolded that my paintings wasn't good but Naomi Louis smuggled it from my room and when I asked, she says she threw it away because it wasn't good but she secretly sold in high amounts and they bought it without negotiating”
“My life is a mess, such a mess, I just hope I get my revenge with your help” Lyra kept on crying, she was drunk and not sound.
Xami Lax was also teary after listening to her story, he bent his shoulder to let her rest on him before he took her to the bed side to sleep.
Xami Lax knew about her story and he had a strong feeling of love for her when he saw her painting with sweat in the family's workshop.
He knew about how they treated Lyra and spoiled Saphira with goodies and expensive items.
This was the Lyra he wanted, the strong Lyra and not the weak Lyra.
This is where the revenge process began!!
