I was so happy to get Duke’s money in time. He had done a good job and he needed to be paid as soon as possible.
I drove to the address he had given me and I knew that all I needed was to go to the basement. From there, we would be done with all this.
Now that Aubrey is out of the way, I don’t think that I will need Duke for anything else in this world.
I parked and knocked gently on the basement door.
I was still standing there when suddenly, my face was covered and my mouth was gagged with a stinking piece of cloths.
