Alasteir stood looking out the window of his chambers in the packhouse waiting for Myrah to return. Recently things had been set into motion among them was the fact that Amyrah’s True Mate was now ready to claim her or at least know she was his. “Da you would be proud of the woman she has become that she has blossomed into being able to just be her.” He said to the portrait of a man on the wall it had been painted of his father when he was on the royal guard as a gift from Amyrah to him since he could not see his reflection in the mirror. “ I wish we could have found your body Da. That we could have rightly given you what you deserve. But Morgan herself looked for ya and did not find ya. I hope you have rest wherever it is ya got to.” The sounds of the women returning came to him from the open window. “ A dress! A freaking dress Tabitha but it’s perfect” Myrah was heard saying. Alasteir smiled to himself as a boy he remembered being with his father in Amyrah’s chambers as she readied herself and often she complained of dresses. It did not surprise him that she still lacked a fondness for them.
“Myrah come here” Byron called from the edge of the forest that surrounded the pack house. “what is it Byron?” she asked stepping over “turn around then” he said placing a silver necklace around her neck that matched the belt of the dress “Alasteir allowed me to design the belt and necklace it is the crest of the Royal wolves the one Morgan chose a full moon made of the Celtic knot and a wolf. I a kin you like it if not I can design something else” he said showing her in a mirror he had in his pocket “No Byron I love it Morgan herself would be proud to wear it or be a witch.” She stated. Admiring the workmanship and detail that went into the necklace and the belt. “I kin she would it is her crest after all” Byron said stepping away “Myrah I can’t wait for next week and the Royal Events but do ya a kin that my mate might be there or yours even?” he asked Myrah sat down and patted the grass beside her “Byron I’ve been 23 for a long time now gifted by Saline to not age but if my Mate was out there don’t you think by now I’d have met him? I’m not a wolf just raised by them since my family was wiped out. I’d be a disgrace to any pack without a wolf and always needing to be protected.” Byron paused his mouth forming a straight line as he thought “ I donna know about that Myrah I’d be honored to have you as my Luna to stand by me. I don’t know any other human that can take on Alasteir and not be almost killed or killed” Myrah laughed “gifted by Saline remember” Byron nodded “exactly gifted by our Moon Goddess who wouldn’t be proud to have you by their side.
……….
His nephew was taking over his late brother’s pack and Gideon was on edge. Byron would be coming back from training with Alasteir, Micah, and Elder Samuel. He was more then ready for this Gideon knew this but why was he and his wolf so on edge. “sir which silverware do we use” Kirk his butler asked “whichever mother chooses Kirk, I told you let her plan this. I’m fine with it.” As the gypsy caravan started to arrive heralding the beginning of the guest he couldn’t help but feel something was out of place, something was stirring in him he thought he had lost or maybe someone. “Myrah Lynn!” Ariel his mother called as she greeted her brother Micah and the small group “Aunt Ariel”
“Sir Rogues, in the Forrest River pack they are asking for our help '' his betta said walking into the room “okay let's go then” Gideon slipped out the back knowing if he went through the front gate his mother would have something to say.
“Aunt Ariel Lord, how I have missed you” Myrah embraced her aunt. “What is that smell?” Myrah asked, catching a hint of it on the breeze as the pack warriors left. “Probably the men training they need a bath most likely” Ariel stated showing them into the large castle like packhouse. Myrah shrugged it off; it wasn't a bad scent just foreign to her.

Flashback:
“Jehonathan! Look out behind you” Myrah welding her power threw a ball of blinding sunlight towards those coming up on Jehonathan. Some bursting into flame others being burned badly “Myrah Bre to your left” he pointed towards two Vampyre advancing on her left; she sliced through them with her silver blade reducing them to ash. “I think that was the last of them Myrah Bre” John said their backs to the ravine. “Twas that not enough for ya” Myrah asked, catching her breath as they sat “No but I know the others will be looking for us to continue on. They are back at the main battle keeping the mass off of us as we continue. We are all that stand in the way of that b***h of a second in command of your mothers and this curse that will end us all.” John stood and reached out for Myrah’s hand “up with ya now” He stated and he helped her to her feet “John is this worth it all of this in the end one battle after another first me ma and now this Vampyre Bronagh all for who will rule! What will there be to rule if we destroy it all?” Myrah asked as they continued forward “Myrah Peace is hard fought for and harder still won.” John echoed Aarons words from earlier when he had asked the same question of him. “Ay this again. I donot understand why one would want to curse all a few mayhaps I see but to end the world was it really that bad. Ugh more of them we must be getting close to the old hag then” Myrah leveled her sword pointing towards another band of stragglers heading towards them “Do we just rush in?” John asked “Wait and see what they do.” The stragglers headed towards Amyrah “We surrender do as you wish with us.” the leader stated falling before the girl. “ We served your mother we will serve you. For you are even more just then she you are fair to all a friend to all” the others nodded their agreement with the first “Go and report for Meridah tell her I sent you also tell her Clan Dah she will know what that means” The male Vampyre took Myrah’s hand and placed a small ruin in it “She can’t do what she seeks to without this. We stopped what we could but I’m sure some of the guard are still on our heals.” He pressed Myrah’s hand in towards her chest “ Amyrah you and yours are our only hope now that witch is mad she has completely lost her mind.” he stepped back from Myrah as she looked down at the ruin in her hand she had seen it before. She knew this ruin and what it was for. “Go to Meridah NOW” she yelled to the group.
“John with me I need to find grandmother I know what she is really trying to do!”

Meridah watched as her daughter Ariel greeted those who had just arrived her old friend Myrah being among them oh how she longed to sit with her and talk about the old days about training about the council which she now sat on. “Morgan Amyrah needs to come back to us” she almost sighed the thought out loud. “Oh dear one how I miss you mighty warrior” she breathed to herself as the company came closer “Fáilte go dtí áit a mbailíonn comhghuaillithe Castle” (Translation Welcome to
áit a mbailíonn comhghuaillithe (or Where Allies Gather) Castle) Meridah hugged each as they drew near “ Home of The Great Sovereign Queen ruled in her stead as appointed by the Goddess Saline by the King Alpha” Meridah knew to watch her wording around her old friend though she did not know who she truly was somethings are just embedded in ones DNA. “Meridah Dia Dhuit” Myrah greeted the woman “ You look as beautiful as ever and not a day of 50” Meridah laughed to herself if only “ Myrah stop telling fables and head up and get ready for dinner Samuel you have arrived late as always. . .” She turned to her dear friend and Ally Alistair “ And you boy take my great grandsire and go find his Uncle I heard the word rogues so we’ll see how that training worked out” She paused as the two men started for the back exit “ And do not come back all bloody and a mess we have other guest arriving later on for dinner!” the two men bounded out the back shifting into their wolves “You think she’d kill us if we did come back a mess?” Byron asked in the mind link “She still calls me a kid, child, I’m far from that I’ve sired and grandsired a few in my day. What do you think.” Allister laughed to himself enjoying the running in wolf form “ You allow her” Byron shot back “Son you don’t just allow her to do anything she does it. She was the second female in command next to the Sovereign Queen she made sure all her edicts were followed out. She is a powerful woman in and of herself” As they neared the sound of the battle both stopped their talking and began watching to see where they were need. They watched a large Black wolf with silver mantle and mane take out 2 rogues before another jumped on his back and yet another jumped at his flank bounding in beside the Alpha King Alistair took out the one that had gotten on the king’s back and Byron had gone for the one cornering his uncles betta. “Need a hand?” he shot the question to the two leaders “If you’d given us a moment we’d have gotten them.” Daniel shot back. “ Look at them running off” spoke one of the warriors “Good, let them go” Daniel spoke. “ Alistiar she is here?” he asked eagerly he stood taller but just a hair shorter then the King. His silver white wolf could have been mistaken for the father of the King but he was not; he was the sire of The Sovereign Queen. He had not laid eyes on his daughter since she was taken to the Royal Gypsy Pack’s grounds for safe keeping. “Ay Daniel, she is here and feisty as ever.” Alistair countered back. Gideon came to stand next to his Betta. “ So I will finally meet your daughter?” he asked in the link “Ay but she does not know I’m her da so keep it down” Daniel said stepping away. “ How come?” Gideon asked walking a step behind Daniel. Gideon though the Alpha King had not been introduced or told of Myrah for she had been taken from the castle before his time by Alistair and Micah when word had gotten out that she may have connections to the Queen. “ You’ll find out soon enough Pup” Daniel mind linked. “Run” he commanded the warriors “Lady Meridah will expect you call clean and spotless before dinner so make it so” Daniel’s voice bellowed out the command. “Byron, Gideon run ahead I need to speak with Alistair alone please” the uncle and nephew took off running in wolf form to be back and ready before Ladies Meridah or Ariel could throw a fit.
“Alistair old friend” Daniel’s wolf embraced the other “Uncle Daniel” Alistair sat down “did you see his wolf Daniel?” Alistair asked “it’s huge” he continued. “ It has a silver mantel and mane” Daniel spoke simply “Then he is her mate?” Alistair asked getting up to stand next to Daniel watching where the two had already vanished from sight “It appears so. And when they meet they will know it.” Daniel replied simply yet again “Daniel you don’t think all those memories will come back right then and there on the spot do you?” Daniel started walking back towards the castle deep in thought as they went “No, Ma would not do that to her but she may start having dreams or short flashbacks.” Alistair nodded “Do you think she’ll hate us?” he asked “You know for keeping her in this stupor for all these years” Daniel shock his head “I hoped to have more answers for her then we do when it comes to the what’s and why’s we know most but pieces are still missing as well as people. We never did find your father’s body and that will eat at her. This I know for certain.” they stopped the castle coming into view. “Sir” Alistair turned. “Will she come back,” Daniel looked at his paws and shock his great head “If your asking about my mother I could not tell you twix way on that. I know she longs to be with her granddaughter again. She’s longed for this for a thousand years and even longer still. She’ll meet us in the moonlight.”

What is that smell? Gideon thought to himself. It’s so intoxicating like roses on a hot summer's day with the hint of honey and vanilla and spices, an odd combination but oh so thrilling. Caleb stirred sniffing the air throw Gideon “our mate?” he almost asked. They had not found their mate which was unheard of for an almost 35-year-old wolf, let alone an alpha or king. “ I’m afraid we are not permitted that happiness”, Gideon spoke to his wolf “ but what if we are?” Caleb sounded hopeful “Then I am truly grateful and blessed but it’s been over half my life since we came of age we’d have found her by now. Gideon hygge his mother as he took his seat next to her “mother” he stated “son at least there is no blood on ye”
At that moment a vision entered the top of the grandstair case coming into the grand ballroom. She cut a figure walking down in a midnight navy gown that sparkled and glowed and showed off her every feature. It was perfect for her the emblem of the Queen on her belt and necklace. Behind her a portrait of the Queen in a similar colored dress hung and Gideon had to blink hard “Mother is she a descendant of the Queen Sovereign?” he asked, “No son. . . She is the Queen Sovereign”, Meridah answered her grandsire
“Gideon?” Caleb Gideon's Wolf spoke “Yes Caleb?” Gideon answered, not taking his eyes of the vision. “She’s our mate!”
